Turkish team from Ankara made a sensation winning first match in Italy (3:1). As host they have won again in tie-break and won CEV Cup as first Turkish team in the history (also Arkas Spor Izmir won Challenge Cup in season 2008/09). Ahmed Abdelhay played great competition and ended 21 of 39 balls. In Andreoli Latina Pieter Verhees played on his proper level. Halkbank triumph confirms strength of Turkish league.
