Short cut of the battle in 1/16 round between Belgian Lennik and Finnish Raision Loimu. The best player of the game was Overbeeke from Lennik. In the second match Lennik won in three sets and advanced to the 1/8 round against Kharkov. Lennik played really nice in that tournament and lost in the semi-final against winner of CEV Cup 2014/15: Dynamo Moscow.

Action from match in the World League 2014, we see here great digs from both side and spike by Matthijs Verhanneman who ended this action. Finland won that game in the tie-break. Belgium with 17 points is on the 1st place in Group C. Team coached by Tuomas Sammelvuo is on the 3rd place with 9 points. Finland coach Tuomas Sammelvuo said: "A big difference with Friday. We improved of course in block-defense, but especially our serves were better and we made only five direct faults on 109 attacks. That means that our attack was much better than on Friday. But I’m especially pleased with the mentality of my players that took a revenge on their bad result on Friday. Of course, we have also the Belgian team, that was much more better on Friday".

Gavin Schmitt was best scorer of that game with 16 points. Canadian coach, Glenn Hoag said on the press conference: "Both teams are working things out, it’s obvious. This is what World League is at the beginning. The game grows better as we go; we have a lot of things to work on. Our serving wasn’t great as Thomas said. We didn’t serve very hard, and that’s one part of the game where we need to improve is put hard serves in. Second thing is our small play. We need to polish it. We need to be better at setting high balls by non-setters.”

Interesting movie from game between Belgium and Australia (25.05.2014), made by Belgian fans. It was battle between Kevin Klinkenberg and Adam White. Belgium national team won both matches against Australia. Klinkenberg ended the match's as top scorer, with 17 points. Belgium's coach has hailed a "dream" result after his side completed a comfortable double over Australia in their second FIVB World League match of the weekend, winning 3:1 (23:25, 26:24, 25:23, 25:16). Coach Dominique Baeyens said:"We dreamed of this result – but you have to realise it. Australia made it difficult for us in the first two sets. They played with strong service pressure, but this is World League and we have experience. Fortunately we got the advantage. It is nice to see how volleyball is more and more popular in our country. I’m proud of my team that they got these level after only 10 days of practice. We have no injuries, and we have a good squad".

Marko Ivović (Serbian: Марко Ивовић, born December 22, 1990 in Ljig) is a Serbian volleyball player. With Paris Volley he won CEV Cup 2013/14 and was voted MVP of the final. He was voted the best player in French PRO A in season 2013/14. Paris Volley have lost in play-off finals with Tours VB. The Serbian wing-spiker Marko Ivović has joined Resovia Rzeszów. He signed a one-year contract. After officially became a member of Resovia, Ivović revealed first impressions for Serbian media: "I have signed a one year contract and my expectations for next season are high. Conditions are great. I see Resovia as a perfect step in my career, from which I can go only further. Club really belongs to the group of best organized in the whole Europe", said Ivović.

Best actions of French national team in match against Russia. The Olympic Champion won against France after exciting game and got a plane ticket to Kopenhagen. Dmitriy Muserskiy had a significant contribution to the outcome of the game. He scored 18 points, including he had 60% in attack. In France Earvin N'Gapeth was the best player as usual. French wing-spiker scored 22 points. "We are sad because we wanted to fulfill our dream and play the semis. We tried to perform well especially in defense, but we did so only for one set. We nevertheless fought until the very last point of each set and I hope this game will be a valuable experience for my players. Hopefully next time we will be able to beat Russia" said France coach Laurent Tillie. "We knew that France with their young players was going to put up a real fight and we were ready for this. My primary goal was to break their defense system and we did so, thereby being able to play our game", said Andrey Voronkov (coach of Russia NT).

Exciting game against Slovakia brought France the first win during the European Championships. "Les Bleus” tipped the balance on the very tight sets number two and three. In their game with Slovakia France caught a very good start with their opposite Antonin Rouzier looking unstoppable. Even though Slovak head coach Stefan Chrtiansky tried to change the course of the game with a double substitution and bringing in Juraj Zatko and Milan Bencz, the set was already gone as France had piled up a six-point lead finishing it off at 25:20. Tomas Kmet set the pace for Slovakia in the second set as his side moved up 8:5, keeping control of the operations up to 15 all. The score stayed very close and Chrtiansky’s son Stefan jr. aced for the 22 all. Slovakia got up at 24:22 but missed out on a series of set balls until France showed great composure and very strong nerves to wrap it up at 35:33 for the 2:0. Slovakia played good Volleyball also in the third set while their opponents looked faulty. Still the “ Les Bleus” could fight their way back, drew level at 22 all and eventually closed it in straight sets with Kevin Le Roux blocking for the final 28:26.

Brazil, Russia, France, Serbia and Montenegro, Bulgaria and Italy with "wild card" played in World League final tournament. Moscow was host final round of World League from 23rd to 27th August 2006. Team coached by Bernardo Rezende won in the final match against France national team. Russia gained third place thanks to victory against Bulgaria.
