@SunyuWu definitely a bug. There were 143 cases of such players in the database. All of them are fixed now.
Every midnight our "data cleaner" will check for such situations and fix them.

@sitenoise you can also add staff member and there is "was pro player" flag in the Settings box.

Such bug have been just solved for all already existing cancelled tournaments.
Moreover, this situation will not happen in the future: there is an extra validation during adding team's positions for cancelled tournament and secondly: if tournament will be marked as cancelled all team's positions will be cleared.

@sitenoise We are searching for a player profiles where there is a connection with not defined ending season.
It will be implemented soon.
Workaround is adding clubs in player profile (you can add for example women clubs in Andrea Anastasi profile).
