Bernardo Rezende's tenure as head coach with Brazil's men's team began in 2001. Since then he has led them to numerous podium finishes. Brazil team won gold at the 2003 and 2007 World Cup and bronze at the event in 2011. At the Olympic Games, he led the team to gold in 2004 and silver in 2008 and in 2012. The team also won gold at the 2002, 2006 and 2010 World Championships. Brazil have secured eight World League titles since Rezende's arrival. Documentary about one of the greatest players in volleyball history: Vyacheslav Zaytsev. (Russian: Вячеслав Алексеевич Зайцев, born 12 November 1952) is a Russian former volleyball player who competed for the Soviet Union in the 1976 Summer Olympics, in the 1980 Summer Olympics, and in the 1988 Summer Olympics. Zaytsev was born in Leningrad. In 1976, he was part of the Soviet team which won the silver medal in the Olympic tournament. He played all five matches. Four years later, he won a gold medal with the Soviet team in the 1980 Olympic tournament. He played five matches. With the Soviet Union, Zaytsev won two other Olympic silver medals, two World Championships and seven European titles. At the 1988 Games, he was a member of the Soviet team which won the silver medal in the Olympic tournament. He played five matches. Zaytsev played for Avtomobilist Leningrad (now Spartak St. Petersburg), with which he won two CEV Top Teams Cup and two Challenge Cups in 1982–1983. He finished his career in Italy, playing in Spoleto, Agrigento and Città di Castello. He is married to Irina Pozdnyakova. Berlin Volleys documentary (German Cup 2014)
German volleyball club team Berlin Volleys publish documentary about German Cup final. You can see players like: Kawika Shoji, Paul Carroll and Robert Kromm. The Movie shows the cup final from the team’s perspective. German Cup come back to Friedrichshafen. They played at Gerry Weber Stadion in Halle. Atmosphere in hall - real hell. The current German champion was winning 10:6 in tie-break and they have lost it. Indeed, the fight for the cup title was lost, but as Kawika Shoji said: "No matter what happens, we’ll stay together". This attitude is what the team again wants to demonstrate in the upcoming weeks. Athlete's Life: Bruno Romanutti
Movie showing Bruno Romanutti life in Kielce, Poland. He was revelation of Argentinian A1 2011/12 so that he signed a contract with Puerto San Martín Voley. In next season he was best spiker of Argentinian League. Bruno joined Effector Kielce in July 2013 and he had the task to replace Armando Danger. Bruno scored 159 points in regular season of Polish Plusliga (he was on the 47th position on the ranking of best scrorers). In February 2014 he came into conflict with coach of Effector Kielce: Dariusz Daszkiewicz. At first he said in press conference that he doesn't feel support with some of teammates. Than in match against Resovia in Rzeszów he was disappointed by coach's decision and he threw bottle with water into the ground. In next match against Kędzierzyn-Koźle he was removed from the team and Effector won with one of the best team of Plusliga 3:0. "Let this season end now, please" he wrote on his twitter.1 4820 -

Hugo was widely respected as one of the most intelligent and best all-around players in the world on a team that mirrored his special skills. Hugo played professionally in three different countries: Argentina, France and Italy but predominantly in the Italian league. He played as wing-spiker (like his son Facundo). Documentary about Nikos Samaras
Nikos Samaras (1 July 1970 - 4 January 2013) was a Greek volleyball player, who competed for various Greek, Italian and Turkish clubs. Samaras was born in Stuttgart. He was played in Orestiada, helping the team to become successful in Greece and Europe. A real legend of Greek volleyball, he hit the ball with amazing technique and power. Many young people turned to volleyball in the 1990s because of him. The 42-year-old athlete felt discomfort, had severe head pain and passed out. His loved ones took him to the hospital where he passed away on 4 January. The doctors did their best to help him but Nikos Samaras, as it is alleged, suffered an aneurysm that couldn't be reversed and resulted his death. All the Greek volleyball community is grieving for this great loss.2 6827 -

The first rules, written down by William Morgan, called for a net (1.98 m) high, (7.6x15.2 m) court, and any number of players. The first official ball used in volleyball is disputed; some sources say that Spalding created the first official ball in 1896, while others claim it was created in 1900. Volleyball was officially included in the program for the 1964 Summer Olympics. Beach volleyball, a variation of the game played on sand and with only two players per team, became a FIVB-endorsed variation in 1987 and was added to the Olympic program at the 1996 Summer Olympics!1 8706

Wilfredo_is_Marshall ·Dalhausser was born in Baden, Aargau, Switzerland, to a German father, Peter, and a Swiss mother, Marianne. His brother Mark lives in Brooklyn, New York. He now calls his hometown Ventura, California. He attended Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Florida. Dalhausser did not start playing volleyball until his senior year in high school. He and his former playing partner, Todd Rogers, are the 2007 AVP Tour champions and the reigning FIVB world champions. Dalhausser and Rogers dominated both the domestic USA tour and now the FIVB international tour winning #1 team honors on both tours in 2010. Dalhausser and Rogers were Olympic gold medalists at the 2008 Olympic Games.3 6373
