Belogorie Belgorod defeated Dynamo Moscow in the match for third place in the Russian Cup 2014 and won the bronze medal of this competition. In front of home crowd, they beat Dynamo Moscow in three sets (25:20, 25:21, 25:8). Even Ivan Zaytsev (he scored 9 points) couldn’t help the team from Moscow. Belogorie’s attack was divided into three players: Dmitriy Muserskiy (17 points), Maxim Zhigalov (17 points) and Dmitriy Ilinykh (10 points). The third set was disaster for Dynamo. They took only eight points.
