Sebastian Świderski in The Olympics 2008

"The Little Knight" with efficiency 37.76% was the best spiker in The Olympics 2008. He was 31 years old player of Lube Banca Macerata then. Team led by Raul Lozano presented amazing volleyball in Beijing. Winiarski was best receiver, Ignaczak was 2nd among best liberos, Zagumny was best setter. Finally they took 5th place after defeat with Italy in quarter-final. "Świder" was on the 23th place in ranking of best scorers with 61 points (56 on attack, 5 blocks). He wanted to play in London, but two injuries in Polish league (he played in Kędzierzyn-Koźle) thwarted his plans.
