It wasn't meaningless point for him, he knew that every point he makes, every move and reaction can decide his fate in Trentino, it was final for him. About the nerves of steel, he made several closing set aces in 2009 ECH and WCH qualification tournament and one or two in WL2010. Him and Matey are responsible for the win against Netherlands which sent us at the semifinal in ECH 2009, not to mention his games against CSKA when Levski got the title in 2009 against team with Maiyo, Nenchev, Salparov and Co.

His whole history shows his nerves, this is one of the reasons why Stoychev picked him at the first place. If his reception was better, he may have played many more games so far, I guess

I will say it again - Stoychev choice proves only his choice. When he took Bratoev, it was announced in the papers from him that Bratoev would not get much chance during the first year, since De La Lunga and Collaci will be the receptionists. It will be very childish from Stoychev to cross his own word, so I believe that Bratoev is either going on loan, or staying in Trentino. After all without him we wouldn't reach the ECH 2009 semifinals and he is one of the players with 9 aces in one game (Serie A2). I really don't understand the Verhaneman choice, btw, if they want good OH, there are better options in Belgium
