Obstacle course is a form of training in which an athlete does a certain number of exercises in sequence (on an open field or indoors) in the shortest amount of time as possible. It can be arranged in numerous ways for different purposes like: courses with low impact exercises can be used to warm up our athletes, medium or hard impact exercises to improve our athletes motor abilites, with specific sport techniques (in this case volleyball) or a all of the above. The obstacle course is excellent for training younger athletes as it provides a dynamic environment, clubs who are short on time and/or resources , etc. Another way to make the course easier or harder is to just take away or add exercises.
