Son of former player Hugo Conte, he is part of an Argentine volleyball generation, many members of which are related to the 1988 Olympic bronze medalists. Conte is a participant of the 2012 Summer Olympics, gold medalist of the 2015 Pan American Games, silver medalist of 2011 South American Championship.
