yes!! I saw part of the match and it was a good match, there were few errors, but the teams were quite close! Actually there was a very nice recovery of Argentina in second set; after reaching serbia and passing them 24-23 they were almost to through this recovery away with two mistakes (serve and attack), but at the end they managed to close the set ?

It wasn't Nowakowski's day, but he usually play good (for example yesterday). Bartman can't score crucial and some easy points. Maybe he isn't bad, but he's not what we need. Today Brazil played their best and we weren't play good. We need more experienced team and players, who can lead the team. don't get me wrong, i never meant to make that win less impressive or something. right visa versa, although my team lost, we lost in a good fight, which team bulgaria gave us. Unlike your team, we didn't really NEEDED to win, we needed experience. As a result both teams got what they needed, i don't see anything bad about it.

I think that Stoychev's work showed something in these two matches. Last year we played much better, most of the time were equal to Brazil but didn't get enough points to qualify. This time Russia was most of the time the better team, but we managed to win one time and to take 4 points out of 12
compliments to Cuba, expecially Bell, he was unstoppable. I'm glad they are in final8, but... what the hell, I think we deserved to go in Danzica with a victory ç_ç

raylight I haven't seen any of last four Bulgaria's matches, as I'm working sometimes while they playing and can't see every match I would like to see ? so there's nothing to comment really from my side - that's why I'm basically asking more about those matches, I bet you noticed. And I don't hate you, don't be silly. You have players that I like and respect. Nikolov will always has special place in my heart of fan ?
The rule is: if two teams from group A will have more points than host [Poland], one team from all 2nd places in groups with the less points won't be in F8. USA needs to score 4 points, otherwise Serbia can still pray and Sets Ratio will decide [if both teams will have 21 pts] - before this match Serbia had higher ratio.

First "Polish band" is placed at number one in Group "E" finals. Second teams from the same group in the group stage can still play together. Third, if the Poles remain third in its preliminary group, as was the case, then their group in the final phase will be two first team and one second. If the second group of Poland (USA) is one of the best three teams, the top two teams from the preliminary group of Poland go in a group, Brazil and the U.S. must be in one group. From all this it is clear that there are only two options are to satisfy these three conditions. Bulgaria is in a group with the Poles, Italy and Argentina or Brazil, USA and Italy. Things are clarified by the last condition.
For the arrangement of groups in the finals to take account of classification in the first phase, which is how many points (Russia - 31 points, Brazil - 30 points), but only the final group gets called. streamer system or "zigzag". But the leader of Group "E" must be the host so that the ranking system and starts a group "F" (Poland is considered first in this scheme, Russia for a second, Brazil - third shift is one place). It doesn't surprise me at all. Same was in 2007 when Russia and Brazil were in the same group to make it easier for Poles. Unofficial "law of the host" which I don't like to be honest.

That's the first time I can be fully satisfied with the teams qualified to the final round. Nevertheless this year's intercontinental round was one of the weakest in the past couple of years. Too many key players were injured/exhausted, and the game level suffered a lot due to that.

I think Cuba improved a lot from the beginning of the WL, for exemple they played respectivly well and very well in the last two matches vs Italy, and of course they have a great potential, so actually they "may" be able to get the semifinal... I mean, I won't be such surprised if they will play a good final8 pool...
but I don't trust too much in their "cold blood" and in their setters' tactical abilities, and you need both to play vs Brazil or USA...

Italy played poorly in the adoption and servers. Service is very strong side Italians but not in this match. Savani only kept a good level throughout the match. In Argentina incredible Conte and De Cecco.
BTW one of the two italian commentators was Fefè De Giorgi, that next year will be San Giustino coach... and Facundo coach! of course he was so pleased to watch him playing at such an high level ?

No, I am being rational. Kaziyski had only two strong games in attack in this WL, with average spike efficiency of 44%. Trauma, OK, but I will upload the match for you to see how he approaches the spikes, totally non-serious way. If he show you the finger, would you still consider that he can be excused? You can't be so emotional to defend him from being not serious. I am sorry, but this is not the first match in which I am pissed off. Aleksiev was nowhere in attack despite being over the block most of the time, Matey acted not serious in the tiebreak, spiking bad overall, we can't win with one spiker, that's not serious. You can't have almost 60% reception and have 42% in attack. This is the same percentage like the last game with Russia and we had 15% in reception there! Do you say that 42% is our best possible level, because reception was not excuse today - for no one.

to bulgarian friends, kaziyski is not in best form, but look, he plays non stop in italian league and NT, without a break. he isn't a robot, it's impossible to be in top form all the time. looka at wlazły and winiarski. when lozano was our coach they played all the time too, often after injections. now they have enormous problem and are unable to play in NT again. kaziyski is much stronger, but he can't play excellent in each match. but penchev is going to be a great player in couple years, he can be a new plamen ?

"The Nederland refferee"--> also Fefè De Giorgi, italian commentator, criticized him a lot, and said that he remember him because isn't the first time he saw him working so badly.
I think the match could be different without their terrible mistake on Vissotto's spike (2nd set) on the score of 24-22 for Brazilians . If you looked at the replay the ball hits the block and then the head of Vissotto and finally the lateral rod. It's incredible how the second referee hasn't seen it (it was just under his eyes).

Argentina seems to be team for the other group, one level above Bulgaria and Italy. Smart and fast game, strong reception and defense, good blocking, good serve.

I personally am very disappointed Kaziyski despite the long season that played ! For the game, which showed during the injury I can not unhappy, but she certainly has receded. Even Stoychev said that disappointed his attitude before two or three games which means that Kaziyski can play a good level.Now he says he is disappointed by myself.I think the conclusion is that Matey has no desire to play or just not at level .I agree that you will say "is played in many games last season and that can not be constantly in top form" but can not sacrifice all for his club team and for the NT to play poorly and to justify such heavy for a season or so on.I do not like sacrificing for his club team, he can not play properly for the national team.This is not fair to us because if he play well we will havent to pray to the last game if we continued in the next round.

About Bulgarian, it's hard to win a match vs a smart team using in attack only Kaizisky and Sokolov. I think this is the main problem..

Casamodena - You're right. I think however, that Bulgaria is in a worse situation. They play in the best constituted and remember that Poland is still Zagumny, Wlazly, Winiarski. Those players may very much change in the Polish game.
I think that Poland played well in a intercontinental core. Better than Bulgaria.
I think the real test for these teams will be in Olympic qualifying.
BTW I think that at ECH both Bulgaria and Poland will have a great opportunity to show their value. I mean, probably there are 5-6 teams than can look for a medal: Russia, Italy, Poland, Bulgaria, but also Serbia will have the chance to do better than in this WL. But of course everything can happen, as always!

Oh yes NXT, I agree, I thought about them but eventually I forgot to insert them in the postxD they are also playing at home, so I think they will look for playing well... Other teams that sometimes used to show good volleyball are France (I hope they will find their best shape)... and may be also Germany and Finald will manage to win some tough match. But it's really hard to make a prediction.
@spiridoncheto: all this thing about injuries and not chance to rest is true, and I was sorry that Bulgaria had this problems, but having only one week to prepare for the WL can't be an excuse imo, cause it was the same for other teams or players that did good beside that. btw I'm sure they will be competetive in ECH.

That's true, Damarias. In fact I think they didn't actually want to lost: they didn't need the 3 points, but at the same time they wouldn't have problem in getting its and being the first in the pool. May be after all they were quite indifferent about that.
What they cared of - that's was my impression, at least - was saving their energies. And if you don't spend enough energy vs a team like Russia, you will be kicked.

@raylight, coupleSSSS of errors. only one for Bulgaria, I think. Last time I regretted in general the referees because they did lot of errors on both side, this time I feel really mad about this.
Honestly I think Italy would have lost anyway. 17 blocks against 6 , under 40% as for positive reception, never once reactive and accurate with 2nd touches, the main target was spiking in the 3rd meter with show for Bulgarian Block. I think We deserved going home. The only positive side is about Ivan Zaytsev... what a jump and serve!=O

Yes, we played bad, but beside that (and beside Bulgarian playing great) we were often quite close (or if we weren't we recovered), so I can't avoid thinking that if the referees didn't interferred at the and of the first set, we could may be be able to won it, and to start playing better. Of course sport can't be maden with "if" or "may be"...
Before this game I thought: I'm glad is all up to us, I belived we could reach this semifinal and we could do this by our own, so we will have what we deserve: if we will win, that will be the proof we deserve to be in semifinal, if we will lost that will mean we don't, because we are not ready for this.

Argentina are playing parody. They tested Poland in the first set, it was clear that they are the better team and they started to imitate play. They think that Poland will be better for the bronze medal match than Bulgaria. I hope you will punish them, I dislike cheaters. About Italy - last year they deliberately let Serbia go the final round instead of us, they made mad pools for the WCH in Italy and got undeserved 4th place. Considering ARG is a young team and supposing they're thinking about the bronze (like you said), what would be best: face BUL that they destroyed or POL who has 10,000 ppl to support them?
At the end we took what we were able to achieve, but I don't agree, I think we deserved more than this, but we can blame only us if we didn't managed to (and a little bit the referees for today). We work hard, we had the courage to try a new gruop, to give faith to younger players, or players that was on the bench before. We didn't complain because we have tired players for italian championship, because we didn't have older and more experienced player, because we had only 10 days of training with the whole team, because Savani was injuries, etc. I can't belive that in the most important moment we lost our spirit, our will of victory, our enthusiasm. The nervousism was protagonist in 3 of the last 3 macthes. So please don't say "Italy got what they deserved", seems that we stolen every match we won.
Argentina don't have nothing to fight for, exept one meaningless victory. I would prefer them to playing better, of course, but they won 2 matches and thanks to this they get the first place, so "earned" the chance to let someone rest. While Poland has 18.000 people cheering for them and a real reason to win. (the same was in matches Russia vs Bulgaria and Italy vs Cuba, who had a better reason to win, won)

About Uriarte, lot of people criticazed him in M.Roma last season (between the fans). I like him, he is not a genius but he is quite smart, good block and serve, and imo nice set too. What he lacked in Rome was leadership, smth that a setter has to have I think, but that's normal considering he was the younger player etc... So I prefer him in Argentina NT because he is more "free", playing between other youngs (and close firends). Look at how many times he set to MBs, he didn't do it so often in Rome ?

Poland had a very lucky today. I am very happy with the advancement to the semifinals. Most of the fans deserve this promotion. They are fantastic. I am also pleased that tomorrow we play with Russia and not from Brazil. From Russia we play is always better. Poland is not a favorite. If anyone thinks that the judges helped Poland today is stupid. Judges are simply pathetic. Throughout the tournament, they present themselves very poorly. Not only in today's match.
I want to emphasize Kurek play of the match. He is always at the end of the match committed silly mistakes. Kurek won us the match today. Bravo Bartosz!

Referees making mistakes for both sides- not only for Polish advantages.
I don't blame them for it: it is very hard to notice some situations- especialy when crowd screaming. Nowadays should be videoverification or challange (like in tennis). Referees are just to old to notice some situations in this tournament- they were choosen badly.

If you want to win, you need Balkan atmosphere in the hall. Watch our games with Russia in Varna and learn ? You can make them do errors, that's your chance - to be more concentrated than them

Jrios, at the beginning I thought the same, but since a lot of Polish complaint about referees too - and they are used to this TV broadcasting, I think - it can't be an explanation.
And the point is: because referees are human and it's normal they can make mistakes or have a doubt, if we have the technology to avoid that kind of mistake or to solve doubtful situations, we have to use it. Or is there someone that like to be unfair between the referees, orsomeone that like misjudgments between staff and players? I don't think so.
Btw there were also mistakes that I (and not only I) could noticed the first time with the classic camera, or at least I had the doubt, so the same could have done referees and line-judges. It's normal they don't noticed one fingers touching the ball blocking ann attack, but there was worst mistake (like people touching the antenna, for ex)
About Brazil, personally speaking I'm not understimating them, I'm just bored they win always, and first of all I really like Argentina, so I won't cheers for them (Brazil), but that doesn't mean I think they aren't favourite to get the final, because they are. But I won't be surprised if Argentina will managed to win, that's it. I'm looking foward for it ? May be they will lose 3-0, it's possible, but at the moment they have the potential to make Brazil sweat for the final ?
Russia definitly deserve the final (they are very good and they lost only 1 match until now), but to me Argentinians are playing the most enjoyable volley, so they may deserve the first place even more than Russia. Hard that it will happen, but I hope it will ?

Russians have more spikers, better serve and block, and now they have good defense. Only the best Polish team could beat them otherwise
You know what - everything I say is facts and arguments. I don't claim things I can't prove. I am mathematician and although we both have bias, I can defend my thesis. That's the big difference between the emotional fan boy and the grown man. When I say that Kaziyski received well, he actually received well. When I say he was not serious, he was not. We got stats, videos, reasoning behind this. I and don't think that our guys are the best of the best, I dream that they can be. A lot of them are great in their clubs, but together they underperform. Do you know why? Because they are not complete players, and the team is not balanced. How nationalist is that statement, passive - aggressive friend of yours?
And yes, you need Balkan atmosphere. You need aggresive public to whistle Russian serve and to support your team even when they play bad, never stopping to shout and make the noise go high. JRios, last year Bugaria as a quality of volleyball was in top 4, very little lacked for the medals, not only the Italian help for Serbia or the scheme in the WCH and Brazil's cheating, the little in Bulgarian heads. By serving float aces out in predictable sequence, by attacking block in a way they didn't against us and Italy, by keeping the distance with Poland (while they had all main players on court) so tight that Polish players could feel their breath at their necks. Very, very clever players, team, coach! Much smarter than Bulgarian, Polish and Italian players. And Facundo Conte is a big star!

As I already said many times, Stoychev is not the best coach in the world. Rezende is. But Stoychev is among the best with no doubts. Only he or Rezende can make Bulgaria winner and Rezende won't come, so he is the natural choice for us. With Prandi we played better, but didn't won important games, even when for Brazil it didn't matter. Now with players out of shape and missing players we are in top 5 and it is our fault that we are not in top 4. I can see the improvement. Would it be enough? I don't know. Our players need to get smarter ASAP

Tak na poważnie bardzo mądrze mówi Irek Mazur. Drzyzga też ma dużo do powiedzenia na temat siatkówki ale chłop jakoś nie przypadł mi do gustu. To jeśli chodzi o ekspertów. Z komentatorów najbardziej lubię Krzysztofa Wanio. Mimo, że często gada głupoty to przy jego komentarzu nie można się nudzić. Najlepiej to zatrudnić Dębowskiego z TVP. Z nim to nawet 3 Liga byłaby emocjonująca.

Kurek is on the right way to won the prize as best scorer, but as MVP I would prefer Conte, is simply too wonderful to watch*.*
But imo one between Mikhaylov or Kthei deserve/can achieve an award (best spiker? or may be MVP, because the fact of playing in the final will help them? but I still prefer Conte)... So to me best scorer/best spiker/MVP should be a question between these 4 players ? (or Theo, but I prefer the others?

- best server will probably be Musersky...Kurek has some chance but Musersky did 10 aces with 15 faults (av 0.71), Kurek 8 with 23 (av 0,47)...
- best spikers are now in the order Theo60%, Facu56%, Mikhaylov54%, Kthei53%. Kurek is a bit far (I was surprised, honestly), 11th with 47%, but still had a chance (as Murilo, 47%)

Кк15,it is not about resting players, everybody does it, including Bulgaria. It is about carefully executed plan from the stronger team to give entertainment to the host and they finally decided to loose. I don't want to offend anybody, Argentina is in top 3 right now in this moment as a quality of play, e.g. they were stronger than Poland, Bulgaria and Italy. This will change when Poland and Bulgaria have first lineups with all players in shape.
P.S. Although Argentina is the stronger team, Poland can beat them, they have host advantage. I cheer for Poland!

The most beautyful volleyabll in this WL plays argentina, brazil started playing with o opposite as a maian player in 2009 when visotto joined team and young came to play in NT, unfortunately it is not the same brazil like 2002-07
Wowow Wanio Dębowski it must be strong irony.. Comments like "Świderski binds his shoes", "Lozano eat sweets" it's ridicolus but it's not worst. The worst is when they are hoping who scored the point(which team).. when it's common know from quite longl moment (showned in TV and said by speaker). What's more they even don't know the volleyball rules.. Is that TV commentator should be? In polish TV Mazur is the best and I still have hope that Dacewicz get his chance soon.

I guess I was overestimating Argentina. They took Us and Italy bu surprise, but now Poland play very well against them. May be their predictable behaviour in the third match vs Poland was due to inexperience, not to scheme and conspiracy.

Anastazi did great job with Poland, he had time to prepare them for the finals, because they are hosts and he gathered the data from our defeat and the defeat of Italy and now Argentina don't look very strong, when the opponent is being strong too.
raylight, we didn't overstimated Argentina, and yesterday match proof it. But now as jernej said they just fell apart, they are not showing their best volleyball, they are playing very slowly in defense and not incisivly in attack, their communication is not working, their best players (Facu and De Cecco) aren't making the difference. It's like a deja vù to me, the same happend to Italy... It's happen, unfortunally.

Kk15 Anastasi can prepare a team perfectly in terms of physics and tactic but beside our success I think he is bad in chosing the right players for lineup and sometimes lacks a substitions in match.

My bet at beginning was F4: BRA, RUS in Final and ARG, USA. So best surprise for me is Poland and quite Cuba, without Simon I thought, that Cuba ends in the intercontinental round so Cuba quite surprised and the biggest dissapointment was Serbia in league.
Poland won much more than the medal from this tournament - respect, money, ranking, recognition.
About Bulgaria - definitely worse than expected in final eight. Getting there was better than expected, but failing to go to the semifinal was worse than they can. Especially Kaziyski had during all tournament the spike efficiency of 14 year old girl, only 50% of his capabilities. Todorov was playing not well too, before the match with Italy, and he makes the difference in equal game. Losing from Poland after 25:14 in the third set was something, that shouldn't happen. Poland played very well, especially semifinal and small final, but this game we could have won it.
I would give Brazil - too, because they made too many mistakes at the final. Russia made 7 more and still won. Too bad Dante was not on court, they needed powerful spiker for the sideout.
I'm happy for Russians, they are definitely the best team in this edition, considering group phase and the final. And Luciano!
Pity for Argentina a little bit, as they played great group phase, anyway Quiro said it's because it was their first match for medal in WL in this young squad and they put pressure on themselves, they need to learn how to stand this pressure and next time they will try to win medal. Lack of experience - that's what they missed.
Giba said Russia starting change their style, playing more with technique, not only with strength and Brazilians must learn how to play with Russia now.
Congratulations to Russian team, coaches and fans. We do deserve this big VICTORY. Our young players made a great progress in game with so amazing team like Brasil. They played great, but ours played better ;-)

Russia is the most probable champion, but Poland or Bulgaria or Czech Republic could take the title under the right circumstances. Russia still commits many errors and their block is not used optimally. If they can clear that too, they can be almost invincible. Almost, because of the element of randomness in life.
I agree oioi, I'll be worried about France, expecially if Ngapeth will be back. And I expect from Serbia more than they showed in this WL. And I expect smth good from Czech republic too...
Btw, raylight, I know it sounds not objective from me (I'm not sure I can be as objetive as I would like to be, unfortunally), but I think (and I definitly hope) Italy can be in the list you made up... I don't know if you don't think it or if you didn't considered that, I'd like to know your opinion ?
Italy needs players like Mastrangelo and Fei to complete their roster. They have great OHs, very good libero and setter, but Opposite and MB are weaker in comparison with other teams. With complete roster Italy can win medal, without it is possible, but less probable. It depends from the scheme of the tournament very much, unfortunately
Kk15 I forgot to add Italy, they can be dangerous too, but Spiker is the biggest unknown. We'll see if Lasko will be able to lead this team. Playing on three OH (Savani, Parodi, Zaytsev) like Piacenza wouldn't be a bad idea.

I read that Mastro will train with the team this summer. Parodi is still a question mark, but if he will be ready to play as titoular I think we will use him, Zaytsev and Savani instead of 2 OHs + 1 opposite.
BTW I probably enjoyed Buti more than Birarelli (at least in the last part... and not in serve), but I think it depend mostly on the fact that Buti played in club with Travica so they play better togheter than Travica and Bira.
I also read that Boninfante (he was only in the 25s list, not in the 20s) will train with the team, probably because Berruto thought that we may need a setter with more experience that can be able to replace Travica if he lose lucidity... (Vermiglio will never be back to play as second).

raylight Giba or any other Brazilian can think what they want, but they will always say something diplomatic. For example when Rezende is in Poland, he always mention Poland as a one of the main opponents on the way for certain title/qualification to London etc. It was the same here, in Gdansk. Then when NT arrived to Brazil he mentioned as the main opponents Russia, USA or Argentina, probably I missed one team, but there was no Poland. So even if Giba thinks no one can win with them, he would never say this at laud, just because of respect for the opponent.

don't get me wrong, i never meant to make that win less impressive or something. right visa versa, although my team lost, we lost in a good fight, which team bulgaria gave us. Unlike your team, we didn't really NEEDED to win, we needed experience. As a result both teams got what they needed, i don't see anything bad about it.

The rule is: if two teams from group A will have more points than host [Poland], one team from all 2nd places in groups with the less points won't be in F8. USA needs to score 4 points, otherwise Serbia can still pray and Sets Ratio will decide [if both teams will have 21 pts] - before this match Serbia had higher ratio.

But the leader of Group "E" must be the host so that the ranking system and starts a group "F" (Poland is considered first in this scheme, Russia for a second, Brazil - third shift is one place). Thus the order is so that it meets all conditions. Russia and Brazil fall into one group. United States as it was already clear to them. Argentina don't have nothing to fight for, exept one meaningless victory. I would prefer them to playing better, of course, but they won 2 matches and thanks to this they get the first place, so "earned" the chance to let someone rest. While Poland has 18.000 people cheering for them and a real reason to win. (the same was in matches Russia vs Bulgaria and Italy vs Cuba, who had a better reason to win, won)

About Uriarte, lot of people criticazed him in M.Roma last season (between the fans). I like him, he is not a genius but he is quite smart, good block and serve, and imo nice set too. What he lacked in Rome was leadership, smth that a setter has to have I think, but that's normal considering he was the younger player etc... So I prefer him in Argentina NT because he is more "free", playing between other youngs (and close firends). Look at how many times he set to MBs, he didn't do it so often in Rome ?

I don't blame them for it: it is very hard to notice some situations- especialy when crowd screaming. Nowadays should be videoverification or challange (like in tennis). Referees are just to old to notice some situations in this tournament- they were choosen badly.
hospitable poles made really huge contribution into this tournament. i'm not talking about the bribes, i mean high-level organisation costs and effords.
everyone including judges understand that polish volleybal federation and fans must be anyhow rewarded.

How exactly they give the awards? only according to the statistic? And statistic of the whole world league or statistic of the final8?
i'm sure that awards are only for f8, and players doesn't have any awards for intercontinental round.
And the point is: because referees are human and it's normal they can make mistakes or have a doubt, if we have the technology to avoid that kind of mistake or to solve doubtful situations, we have to use it. Or is there someone that like to be unfair between the referees, orsomeone that like misjudgments between staff and players? I don't think so.
Btw there were also mistakes that I (and not only I) could noticed the first time with the classic camera, or at least I had the doubt, so the same could have done referees and line-judges. It's normal they don't noticed one fingers touching the ball blocking ann attack, but there was worst mistake (like people touching the antenna, for ex)
About Brazil, personally speaking I'm not understimating them, I'm just bored they win always, and first of all I really like Argentina, so I won't cheers for them (Brazil), but that doesn't mean I think they aren't favourite to get the final, because they are. But I won't be surprised if Argentina will managed to win, that's it. I'm looking foward for it ? May be they will lose 3-0, it's possible, but at the moment they have the potential to make Brazil sweat for the final ?
Russia definitly deserve the final (they are very good and they lost only 1 match until now), but to me Argentinians are playing the most enjoyable volley, so they may deserve the first place even more than Russia. Hard that it will happen, but I hope it will ?

As I already said many times, Stoychev is not the best coach in the world. Rezende is. But Stoychev is among the best with no doubts. Only he or Rezende can make Bulgaria winner and Rezende won't come, so he is the natural choice for us. With Prandi we played better, but didn't won important games, even when for Brazil it didn't matter. Now with players out of shape and missing players we are in top 5 and it is our fault that we are not in top 4. I can see the improvement. Would it be enough? I don't know. Our players need to get smarter ASAP

a tak poza tym to w meczu otwarcia - Rosji z USA komentował Irek Mazur z kimś jeszcze - oni bardzo fajnie to robią, powinni być komentatorami na większej ilości meczy.
Tak na poważnie bardzo mądrze mówi Irek Mazur. Drzyzga też ma dużo do powiedzenia na temat siatkówki ale chłop jakoś nie przypadł mi do gustu. To jeśli chodzi o ekspertów. Z komentatorów najbardziej lubię Krzysztofa Wanio. Mimo, że często gada głupoty to przy jego komentarzu nie można się nudzić. Najlepiej to zatrudnić Dębowskiego z TVP. Z nim to nawet 3 Liga byłaby emocjonująca.

Kurek is on the right way to won the prize as best scorer, but as MVP I would prefer Conte, is simply too wonderful to watch*.*
But imo one between Mikhaylov or Kthei deserve/can achieve an award (best spiker? or may be MVP, because the fact of playing in the final will help them? but I still prefer Conte)... So to me best scorer/best spiker/MVP should be a question between these 4 players ? (or Theo, but I prefer the others?
And what about the other awards in your opinion? ?

- best scorer will really probably be one between Kurek88, Conte79 or Mikhalov76;
- best server will probably be Musersky...Kurek has some chance but Musersky did 10 aces with 15 faults (av 0.71), Kurek 8 with 23 (av 0,47)...
- best spikers are now in the order Theo60%, Facu56%, Mikhaylov54%, Kthei53%. Kurek is a bit far (I was surprised, honestly), 11th with 47%, but still had a chance (as Murilo, 47%)

Listen Zorzi comment about Weber decision about Poland-Argentina, he called him "smart". Thinking about what happen to Parodi in meaningless match vs Trento, I'm glad that Weber let his guys rest for a bit.

Poland is simply wonderful to watch today, they are keeping smiling and enjoying playing all the time, compliments, I didn't expect that level. Kurek is playing so well and so smart, Jarosz is not missing a kill and everyone is doing everything to keep the ball alive. good job!!

About Bulgaria - definitely worse than expected in final eight. Getting there was better than expected, but failing to go to the semifinal was worse than they can. Especially Kaziyski had during all tournament the spike efficiency of 14 year old girl, only 50% of his capabilities. Todorov was playing not well too, before the match with Italy, and he makes the difference in equal game. Losing from Poland after 25:14 in the third set was something, that shouldn't happen. Poland played very well, especially semifinal and small final, but this game we could have won it.
I would give Brazil - too, because they made too many mistakes at the final. Russia made 7 more and still won. Too bad Dante was not on court, they needed powerful spiker for the sideout.
Pity for Argentina a little bit, as they played great group phase, anyway Quiro said it's because it was their first match for medal in WL in this young squad and they put pressure on themselves, they need to learn how to stand this pressure and next time they will try to win medal. Lack of experience - that's what they missed.
Giba said Russia starting change their style, playing more with technique, not only with strength and Brazilians must learn how to play with Russia now.
I hope that final title of medal ceremony "To be continued...".

I read that Mastro will train with the team this summer. Parodi is still a question mark, but if he will be ready to play as titoular I think we will use him, Zaytsev and Savani instead of 2 OHs + 1 opposite.
BTW I probably enjoyed Buti more than Birarelli (at least in the last part... and not in serve), but I think it depend mostly on the fact that Buti played in club with Travica so they play better togheter than Travica and Bira.
I also read that Boninfante (he was only in the 25s list, not in the 20s) will train with the team, probably because Berruto thought that we may need a setter with more experience that can be able to replace Travica if he lose lucidity... (Vermiglio will never be back to play as second).
