Well looking at Bell who's not really that young anymore it's possible to jump that high for quite a long time ;)

He's a pretty good player, but his entire game is based on his (attacking/blocking) height. I think, if he gets older, and his heigt isn't as impressive, he won't be such a good player any more. :s

AleNickel,you're absolutely right!If it wasn't for those rules,every other team in the world would have been fighting for 2nd place...I remember reading about Cuban players being brought in the police department and being "questioned" like they're some kind of criminals - despicable!I get goosebumps every time I think about that...

Cuba, as country, has been through difficult times, but they are blessed with these amazing players. it's such a pitty that there were so many tensioned situation with their national volleyball federation, such great players should have statues in Havana instead!

Like I said, he is a good player but his biggest/main advantage is his height. His atack is not based on a technique and for sure not on the dynamics.

zver, are you saying that Venno dosn't have big talent? If you are alot more physically loaded that is not the talent that I mean, bigger jump does not equal bigger talent, but Leal had much ,much better chances to become one of the best becouse Cuba is great in volleyball(Estonia vs Cuba, Estonia would get about 10-15 points a set). I know that Leal is better, but Venno has talent and the spike height data is old, he is improoving in every way right now, This time you are wrong zver:( Trust me Venno will come one of the best(very good atleast) Club volleyball players.

@hanes233 "He has a ton of talen like Venno"; LOL? Leal has got much, much more bigger talent than Venno, just compare their motility and dynamics. Oliver jumps 15 cm above the ground, he's just tall-209cm. He's a good player, but Leal is on the higher level.
