@Volleybox informed me that a bug in the code was removing it every day. Seems like I was fighting against windmills back then. ? It is fixed now.

@Sherlock To be honest, he said at the beginning he will choose the players who “helped him to learn” as a coach. So he didn't choose the best players, he chose players that he respects most among the players he's worked throughout his coaching career. Basically, he finds a way to put his favorite players into the list. By the way, I'm surprised that he didn't select Drzyzga as his setter because he thinks that he is the best European setter of the last decade.

@sitenoise This issue is very weird. It seems to me that this is not depend on the file size or file format, some photos just can not be uploaded. Sometimes you can upload a 2 MB roster photo sometimes you can't upload 400 kB photo. Some “.png” or “.jpg” files work, some don't. For example I added roster photos for European Games 2015 tournament but I couldn't upload the roster photos for 5 teams. I give this example because all photos are taken from the same CEV album. I tried to reduce the size of those teams' roster photos or change the file format but t didn't work.
Ooops, video is removed from Youtube. I should have downloaded this way earlier. Such a shame!

@MihaiZarate @Sherlock I think we should write a bug report about this. Also, “year ranking” is only available in the profile of indoor players. It is not shown in the pages of beach players who have not played indoor volleyball in their careers: https://beach.volleybox.net/nina-betschart-p19094

@sitenoise Now, I can't upload any roster photos even the same photo I uploaded earlier to test the issue. At the moment, nothing is working for me. I tried to upload Hisamitsu 20/21 roster photo to Shinai Girls 19/20 since you said that you were able to add it but it also failed. It is weird.
@sitenoise I checked the issue in my 2 browsers (Opera and Chrome) The result is that I can save the roster photo if the team does not have any uploaded photo for that year but I couldn't replace the already existed team photo. It's stuck on “loading” then it fails.

Players' rankings show their indoor rank when you are in their indoor profile and beach rank when you are in their beach profile but weirdly their year rankings show only the beach rank regardless of whether it is their indoor profile or beach profile. It should be fixed.
It's happened again. Who is doing this? Please step up and explain your reasons. The main objective of this post is to stop this meaningless “edit war” but it's still going on.
1 day later: OK, somebody did this once again. Edit war it is, then. I will keep continue to add the clubs, after he/she removed them without any explanation.
It should be fine both ways but I prefer to remove indoor player as a duplicate because if a problem occurs during the merging then completing the indoor career by adding clubs is much easier than completing the beach career via adding partners and then adding those partnership to the beach tournaments.
On the other hand, the real problematic case was merging two beach players. I haven't done it recently so I don't know whether there is an improvement or not but in the past, some partnerships (and also the registered tournaments with that partnership) in the duplicate player were removed after the merging and you had to add all of them again.
You can click the “edit profile” button (the “pencil icon” in player data section of the player's profile page) then change the “player type” option from “beach player” to “indoor and beach player”. When the moderators accept your change, you can add the player to indoor tournaments.
I think it will be fixed with the new refresh. Last night the game was refreshed before the the score of Iran - Brazil match was entered/accepted, so both total points and earned points shown in the “current classification” section are according to the results prior to Iran - Brazil match. On the other hand, although the score is not available at the time, the game is refreshed after the Iran - Brazil match was finished and I think the algorithm of the “top scorers last round” works by adding the earned points from the matches between last two refreshes (timewise). You see, in the earlier hours of the morning, before the acceptance of the Iran - Brazil match result, the scores in the “top scorers last round” section was different from now and after the match score is accepted, points from the Iran - Brazil match were added to “top scorers last round” section. But since the game is not refreshed after that, those points have not been added to the current classification, yet.
