Canada - Brazil (World League 2013, short cut)

After sensational victory over Russia, Canada broke its series of seven row wins at World League 2013 and lost game against Brazil in three sets. This failure turned out to be fateful, because the Canada national team were eliminated from the tournament. Brazil's player Wallace De Souza scored 18 points. He replaced Leandro Vissoto. He stayed at home. Canada posed a significant threat to Brazil's chances of reaching the semifinals after beating Olympic champions Russia, and Wallace said there was plenty of respect for them among his teammates. "They're always difficult to play, in the World League last year we lost to them - there aren't easy teams to play in this World League". Brazil took 1st place in group E. They will play against the second team of group D (Bulgaria) in semi-finals. The semi-finals matches will be played on 20th of July.
