Match between Greek and Russian Champions. Russian team has world stars on all positions: Grozer, Muserskiy, Tetyukhin, Ilinykh and Travica. Main star of Olympiacos is Bulgarian Boyan Yordanov who spent most of his time in Greece (playing for Olympiacos, Panathinaikos and Patras). He was best player of Greek team and scored 13 points. On the opposite side the best was Ilinykh (20 points) and Grozer (19 points). There was 1100 fans in the Rendis hall. Coach of Greek team Dimitris Kazazis said after match: “We could have earned something more from that game. We are not used to play at this high level, but my players fought very hard, and they deserved something more.
