Serie A 2014/15 1st week (Highlights)

Highlights from the first round matches in Italian Serie A 2014/15. Fans wanted to see their teams with new players. There was almost full hall in Modena and Macerata. Match between Modena Volley and Sir Safety Perugia was a hit of that round. Modena Volley beat Perugia 3:1 although Grbić's team took the first set. It was a duel of two members of Serbian national team. Uroš Kovacević (MVP of that game) scored 20 for Modena, while Aleksandar Atanasijević finished with 26 points on the other side. Black horse of Serie A: CMC Ravenna won 3:1 with Copra Piacenza. Copra with Le Roux, Vermiglio, Zlatanov, Mario and Ravenna with Toniutti, Bari. Trentino Volley won in three sets with Tonazzo Padova coached by Valerio Baldovin. MVP of that game was Sebastian Sole with 10 points. Monza was leading 1:0 in sets but Andreoli Latina won that game 3:1. Simon Van De Voorde played great game, the Belgian middle-blocker scored 14 points, including 9 blocks! Team coached by Vincenzo Di Pinto show the best shape in the beginning of the season. Exprivia Molfetta won without loosing any sets with Revivre Milano.
