Brazil received $500,000 for finishing second place. Italy beat Iran 3:0 to claim their fourth bronze medal and 15th World League medal overall. MVP of tournament was Taylor Sander. USA coach John Speraw on the press conference said: "I'm thrilled for my guys, I couldn't be more happy. It was a great final, the first set was just one point, two points the entire way through. Next movie from Grand Champions Cup 2013. Russian players had an amazing comeback from two sets down to win three in a row and defeat Brazil. Russian coach, Andrey Voronkov made important substitutions specially on the third set that changed the course of the match. Few words of Voronkov: "This was a very important match for both teams. When we play against Brazil, everybody pays attention. My players felt a lot of pressure and that was seen in the first half of the match. From the middle of the match our players put their thoughts and feelings together and were able to establish our own style of play. We won because of our focus" Bernardo Resende said after the match: "They played a great second part of the match. They switched their system and did it well. Lube Banca Macerata - Sir Safety Perugia (Highlights)
The first match the finals of the play-offs Italian Serie A. Lube Banca Macerata won the game after five exciting sets, where Michele Baranowicz played amazing when his team needed him the most! He said: "We knew it was never going to be easy. We had not played an official game in ten days and Perugia is an extremely strong team. We had a very negative start but we managed to stay calm and composed, especially after losing the third set. Jastrzębski Węgiel - Zenit Kazan (Highlights)
Jastrzębski supported with over 150 fans reached the biggest success in their history. Jastrzębski lost only two matches in that edition of Champions League, both in Ankara. Lorenzo Bernardi was proud that he could compete with clubs with bigger budget.
