Volleyball to Remember: Zlatanov & Zlatanov
Dimitar Zlatanov is the only Bulgarian player ever to enter the International Volleyball Hall of Fame. He won numerous titles in Bulgaria, one title in Italy, participated in three Olympic Games, won a silver medal (1980) and another silver from World Championships (1970).
His son Hristo Zlatanov played over 20 years in Seria A1 and holds the record for Most Points Scored by one player in the history of the League. He has one title with Piacenza (2009) and played in the Olympics in Beijing (2008) with Italy.
