Belgium - Croatia (European League 2013, full match)

Belgium is the winner of the European League 2013. The Belgian squad has become the real sensation of the tournament with an outstanding demonstration of power and high-class. In the big game of the Final Four celebrated in the Turkish city of Marmaris, Belgium won against Croatia in three sets (21:14, 21:14, and 21:13) thereby getting the right to join the Intercontinental Qualification Round for the 2014 FIVB World League. MVP of Final Four was Bram Van den Dries (he scored 18 points against Croatia). No team has been able to beat the Belgians in that tournament. They won all matches! This year’s edition were special because CEV authorities made up their mind to test a new playing system proposed by FIVB and hence the winner will be emerged after scoring 21st point (all of them were played to 21 points with the exception of the tie-break).
