Halkbank Ankara is the winner of the Turkish Cup in season 2014/15! In the final, team led by Lorenzo Bernardi outplayed Arkas Spor Izmir in three sets. For the third time in a row, and for the third time in club’s history, Halkbank has clinched the Turkish Cup trophy. The Ankara giant simply had more players in the right rhythm. Tsvetan Sokolov was leading the team with 15 points, while he also scored the last point on this match. And, it was an ace! Sokolov had a huge help from Emre Batur who made 14 points, Michał Kubiak added 11 points, while Marcin Możdżonek collected 10 points. On the other side Arkas was seriously weakened as Gordon Perrin could not help the team due to knee injury. Without him in the roster, team from Izmir had only two players with double-digit figures: Gavin Schmitt with 14 points and Leonel Marshall with 10 points.
