Vissoto e newbie Pra altura e alcance dele, ele poderia jogar muito mais... não deixa de ser um bom jogar, mas imaginem um Murilo com a altura do vissoto *-* 1:08 Quem joga volei sabe o que é dificil acertar o tempo e encaixar a mão nessa bola :s

Też tak uważam. Ivan Milijković mimo, że ma już swoje lata trzyma niesamowicie wysoki poziom. Szkoda, że w reprezentacji czy tez w klubie dostaje tak dużo piłek do ataku i nie rozkłada się on równomiernie na cały zespół. Często więc ma ciężko ale i tak radzi sobie bardzo dobrze.

Dworak ja się z tobą nie zgodzę jak dla mnie najlepszym atakującym świata jest Ivan Miljković, ale to tylko moje zdanie :p

Lucho it's possible, that tour words are truth. But about him - he is good, but he still is one level LOWER than players like Schoeps, Milijkovic, Stanley or Wlazły. Why? For me he is just too immature in volleyball to take responsibility for whole team like players told earlier. I remember final of WL 09'; when Brazil in the end won, but... It was last point of second, or third set I don't remember - whole set he was ending almost every ball, but this most important ( 23:24) - Visotto gets good ball from second line and what? Little aut, but AUT. And Serbia wins set. For me he is good but still may be much better!

Once again jump doesn't matter, spike reach does!!! I'd prefer to be a tall guy with 360cm spike reach than a short guy with that reach, REASON??? - a short guy needs place to make a proper spike at this height, a tall guy with same reach can spike shitty set ball without jumping his maximum. EASY

Wow strong hate. It is true that it doesn't look as though he jumps that heigh, but like has been said, you don't have to wehn your 212cm. Jumps look less heigh when you're that tall.

I've always thought that he has a very nice technique for someone that height. I mean you should compare he to people like Kazakov, Dineikin or even van Dijk, his technique is definitely better (he is a little shorter too though). He's good at hit the extreme diagonal from the right side and also good at hitting bad sets by doing a side-step in his approach. Very good diagonal IMO.

What I saw in WL'09 was Vissotto (2.12) and Lucas (2.09) putting pressure over their opponents on the other side of the net. In past Brazilian team had issues with its blocking system, but it seems the things are going to be changed.

What mathers if he jumps or not? If he does all the points he has to do what you want more? He's not the best player, but maybe the best scorer, that's Important, that's one of the reasons tha brazil won the World League! It's not easy to be such a good player with his height!

Ivan Miljkovic is 206 cm tall and spikes around 355 cm. Vissotto is 212 and hits at 370. They probably have a similar jump height. Vissotto's jump simply doesn't look flashy, but the height is definitely there; as tsavo mentioned below, he consistently spikes over an international-level block. The most important thing is effectiveness, and Vissotto proved to be amongst the smartest and most efficient opposite hitters in the world during World League 2009. During the second half of WL, he was often Brasil's go-to hitter.
