Team from Romania started the match in the best way. The score remained close up to 23:23. At the end of the opening set, the Italians delivered a very solid performance but their opponents emerged victorious at 26:24. Danut Pascu, coach of Craiova said: "I am very satisfied with my team, especially as we knew that the match with Modena would have been a difficult one. We travel home with some good feelings despite the loss".
