That result was surprise for most of fans in the world. After more than two hours of tough play, Perugia won the semi-final match of the Italian Cup 2014. Slobodan Kovač (coach of Sir Safety Perugia) on the press conference said: "This match was a replica of the last one in Perugia with one difference. Then it was Mitić who shined, now it was Atanasijević. But all the players deserves praise, especially because of the wall defense which they presented. I am proud of them because they didn't surrender in the fourth set".
