Nikola Kovačević in World Championship 2014

Nikola is a Serbian volleyball player, bronze medalist of the World Championship 2010, European Champion 2011, bronze medalist of the European Championship in 2007, 2013, multi-medalist of the World League. In season 2012/13 played for Polish club from Plusliga - Resovia Rzeszów. He won Polish title. Next season spent in Russian Ural Ufa. On March 17, 2014 official site of Russian club announced that the contract with Kovacevic was terminated. The reason for the premature termination of contracts were financial problems of the club. In 2014 spent a few months in club from Verona and moved to Chinese team Fudan Shanghai. In season 2015/16 he will play for French club Paris Volley. He has two brothers - Savo and Uroš (born 1993), who is also a volleyball player. He is married to Jasmine. They have two daughters Mija and Emma.
