My comment was ironic, I meant that if the hall will host 6400 people at max, there was no need to chose Lodz for the third time, when Belcathow didn't even propose! (The meaning of Lodz was being sure of having a big and still absolutly full home, as far as I understand... And if is probably true that only in Poland is possible to fill a 10.000 seats arena for a CL finals, with 6400 seats it's a different...)
I can't believe they assigned the final4 without even knowing if the Arena was free!!

So, Trento will play vs Belluno and Macerata vs Modena or Monza (but Modena is 2-1 now, the first set won 35-33)

OMG while I was writing BELLUNO WON 3-1 VS CUNEO!
Well, Cuneo wasn't playing great lately, but still O.O (and at home, with their wonderful public!!)

BTW, Trento according to the score outplayed Vibo, and Macerata outplayed Rome. In the first and second sets there was equilibrium till 16ish, then Macerata flow away, while the third was almost a monolouge by Macerata, mostly thanks by Macerata itself, I'll say. There was only a moment when Rome being 4 point under reach -1 (9-8) because Parodi failed an attack and then was blocked, but beside that Macerata (and Parodi too, expept in this two occasions he was supereffective in attack and great in reception) was close to be perfect.
Ah, Savani helped with 5 aces (and a very dangerous run serve).

In Rome I'm still very unsatisfacted by Boninfante.

Of course when I can't go to the Palatiziano it happens that we win 3-2 vs Cuneo, last year vs Macerata... How lucky I am XD
But I'm soooo glad we won, because it is Cuneo, because now we will be more confident on us for the match vs Macerata (even if a part of me can't wait to watch Macerata in Italian Cup Final4 in Rome ?), and because in this period at the beginning of the championship we were at 0 points, while now we got 3 points. Little improvments ?

And our win over Cuneo prevent them to get the second place.

Italy will play 08/05 vs Finland, 10/05 vs Germnay and 11/05 vs Slovakia. I don't no the others.

About the formula, the pool works like in ECH: each one vs each one. The first two teams of the pool A will face in the semifinals the first two of the pool B (of course crossed: first vs second)

I guess it will be 3 points for a 3-1 or 3-0 victory (0 points for the loser), and 2 points for a 3-2 victory (1 for the loser).

Pools for the European Olympic qualification tournament:

A: Bulgaria; Serbia; Spain; Slovenia
B: Germany; Italy; Finland; Slovakia

The draw was made with 4 stabilited couples that should have been sorted in different pools:
Bulgaria-Germany
Serbia-Italy
Finland-Spain
Slovenia-Slovakia (that were obligated, they couldn't be in the same pool of the team they met in the final of the prequalification tournament)
The first of poolA will play the semifinal vs the first of pool B and viceversa.

I still can't understand why they didn't give it to Kazan. They asked for it and last year they showed they can reach the final without external help.
And I'm still uspet thinking that 6 italian clubs qualificated to CL play off and not more than 2 have a chance to be in the final4.
I hope it won't affect our CEV male ranking, considering that Modena "lost" at 1/32 of Challenge Cup.

@Michal, yes I read that the winner of Cuneo-Macerata will play vs the winner of Trento-Maaseik
That's why this time it will be impossible having more than one italian team in the final 4 (while it will be possible to have 2 russian or 2 polish clubs), and that it's a bit sad considering that we managed to reach the play off with all the three teams ? (and the same in the female, even if the male teams did better)
I mean, it will be "painful" to me watching italian clubs eliminating each others... But if I have to choice I'm for Macerata.

The next one is Giangio ?

And the funny thing is that Cuneo and Macerata will play 3 times one vs the other one in a week!!
By coincidence between the two CL matches, the Italian championship match will be Macerata-Cuneo xD

May be in the championship match they won't use the usual starter...

Defintly a better choice than Boninfante, but I hope Baranowicz or Falaschi will soon find the way of the NT.
