I think because of the skill and athletic level of the cuban attackers he is a able to set such short fast sets, though his setting technique may be unconventional i think if he finds his own rhythm he should be a great setter for a great team ( who obviously have no trouble hitting around the blocK)

I dont think the 'evil eye' at ~2:17 should be blown up for more than it is. Giba probably packed him or shut him early and he just happened to give him the evil eye. Perhaps....
