Bernardi is doing good job with Halkbank in defense, Juantorean regained his best form. Too bad that Halkbank, Belgorod and Zenit should face each other before the final four, these are the 3 strongest teams in the Champions League.

Btw, strange that video of this kind could get even 1 negative vote ant that so far has 3. I didn't know that Matey was the most hated player in the world.

Gasparini served very good this match, but it wasn't enough. Lanza was good only on serve today, Matey spiked much better because he had enough time to rest. Nemez killed a lot on serve and block. Sole was good too. It was easier than expected.

@handan: He is best exactly in that - power durabillity of the serve. Kaziyski and Grozer serve faster, Muserskiy has even meaner trajectory of the serve, bu no one is as stable as him

How many of them have scored 4 aces in a row at the end of the tiebreak, or 2 aces at the end of the set in elimination game or game of big importance? Juantorena;s serve alone decides matches, but it is different serve. It is not like scoring 3 points at the end of the time in basketball like Matey does.

@Wilfredo_is_Marshall: I work on two places, don't have much time for that now, plus, our national team disappointed me so strongly that I just recently started watching volleyball again.

3) Heynen - the 3rd place was not a gift from Bulgaria, they outsmarted us, that was a tactical victory.

Club teams:
1) Stoychev - just watch what he did with Trentino with only 1 world class player
2) Alekno - the best (Belo)Russian coach, definitely.
3) Grbic - for breaking the Modena curse and against Trentino, with a domination during the game


If we have to blend in 3 coaches:

1) Rezende
2) Stoychev
3) Alekno

Sorry for replaying here, I couldn't see the button to reply on your reply. Bulgarian youth NT represents Bulgaria. The trophey is not personally theirs to give it. It is just like an official present to the prime minister from another prime minister, and the guy decides to take it for him. That's the wrong part. If it so sportsmanship, why not we go to Rio, win the final vs Brazil /because Brazil is always on final/ and give them back the trophey. Wouldn't this be perfectly marvelous?

About my sportsmanship - when I played basketball and football in school /and american football in the sports academy/ I never did anything outside the rules, 0 fauls. My teammates even argued with me why I don't to such stuff. I consider myself fair player. I don't injure other players even when I am 2 ot 3 times stronge physically then them, I didn't do it in the past. But if I am in a national team and someone asks me to return the medal, I would make him eat it.

Bulgarians deserved the cup, they won all matches on this tournament. Giving back the trophey is dishonoring the country and them and the coach is spineless idiot and traitor for this act. I wonder how he didn't sert the flag on fire just to prove how much more important is Russia than Bulgaria for him.

@Murilo0: Strange comment- he is born 1985 and he is not poor in receiving actually. They will use him for the block, not for a main player, though
