South American Club Championship 2013 (semi-final): Vivo/Minas x RJX Rio de Janeiro. Fantastic match for Minas, RJX didn't have absolutely any chance to win this time. Great match of Marcelinho, Minas' setter and capitain. His words after the victory: " We're tired, this is the end of the season and we need vacations, but this is a very important championship, we're playing at our gymnasium, full of fans, so we must give the best of ourselves to win. We played well this semifinal and now we want the title, this is important to us". Now, Minas is going to play against the argentinean club UPCN, and they hope for the best. The winner of this tournament will represent South America in the next world club championship, it would be indeed a great honor for such a traditional brazilian club like Minas.
