Two Italian teams faced in the battle for Final Four of Champions League played in Omsk (Russia). Macerata won in first match 3:0 and they were undisputed favorite of that battle, but in Cuneo they have lost tie-break and golden set. "One man show" presented by Earvin N'Gapeth in the end of the golden set. Tsvetan Sokolov played great competition, he ended most important balls, had 44% efficiency in attack and scored 22 points. On the opposite side Ivan Zaytsev was the best player of Lube team. Piemonte Volley will play in Final Four of Champions League for the first time in the history! In the semi-final they will face the Polish team: Kędzierzyn-Koźle. It could be the third Champions League won by Nikola Grbić (he ended play in national team so he fights just in club gameplays).
