After a six-year absence Trentino Volley returned to the top of the world with an unprecedented fifth gold medal. Aaron Russell was top scorer of the final with 20 points, as a total of five Trentino players scored in double digits: Uros Kovacevic (16), Srecko Lisinac and Luca Vettori (12 each), and Davide Candellaro (10).
