He has very unique, interesting style, something what is very-very hard to block, he does something new compared to the last spike he made, spikes are always different and very hard to predict :)

hope he'll continue achieving great results with his team. guess that there are more videos about him to come. I've watched the movies about him many times, but I haven't found yet something odd about his playing style. he's such a stunner! :D

This movie is great but it is too fast , u should leave the part in when he comes in to the spike :) but this movie is well done I love it:)

Michal,that's gotta be the highest appraisal of him I've ever read by a fan who's not bulgarian(and therefore bias :) ) HenriqueCLT,I'm sincerely sorry the "Ken Lee" phenomenon hit Brasil,too :) !!!!!!!!! And btw,I'm not sure if that's the right place to ask,but I've been trying to upload a video of Matey of my own for about two weeks now and was wondering if that's like the usual amount of time you have to wait until it's up or not everybody can upload stuff here?

I'm agree with u Michal and I have to say, that he is a great setter too. When he was young till 18 years he was playing as setter. And the coaches had to make very hard choice for his position, but finaly we see that they had made the right one :)

No doubt he's the hardest hitting player in present time and one of the highest reaching as well. I simply love his style since I saw him in 2004, just right after he got into senior competition- his serve and leap looked enormously powerful and high compared to other players- kinda trivial, but that's what made me get interesed more in his career. Later on I noticed he's a really ambitious athelte and a very humble guy by the way, always giving his best to make progress- that's crucial when you get that famous, to be still conscious of your weaknesses and try to do everything to minimalize them. I am also impressed by the amount of games he plays per season, I didn't count them preciselly, but I can say he might be the most exploited player in last the 5 years, and that's another aspect I've got to mention- he significantly changed his style after WCH2006. Why? He realized that might be hard for him to stay relatively healthy puting so much power and leap in every spike and serve. Due to that fact he started to care more about his technique, you can see him spiking in more specified angles than before, what made some average volleyball fans ascertain he's lost his physical abilities, what's abviously not true. When it comes to most important moments that's when he adds his extra power and jump, which make the difference. I'm not considering him a complete player- that would not be wise, I'm talking about a guy, who usually remains unstoppable when the score gets tight, a spiker who can hit over a tripple block from an inconvenient set somewhere from the backcourt, and a server who decides about the score quite frequently. The movie is nice technically, but a bit too fast to delight with volleyball actions. I think the maximal tempo should present at least 2 steps of approach, not player already hitting the ball. Forgot to add he's very impressive at the rightside position.

A great players. In the attack of the best but in receiver its a little lacking. Tireless boy. It can play 100 matches of the season and still nothing he will not.

There's lots of nice plays in this video. But i have to say, i'm not a big fan of the video's which juts put 300 clips of someone hitting a ball in less than 3 minutes. Some of the hits are really only a little better than average. I'd like to see just the best plays, slowed down a bit so you can observe what's actually happening. To see the guys approach, how he blocks, how he positions himself on defense, how he makes the best of bad situations, or does smart plays, and if it came at an important moment, or on transition, or after he passed a serve etc. etc.
