Nikola Jovović

Nikola Jovović is a young and promising setter. He was playing for VC „NIS Vojvodinа“ from Novi Sad, before he moved to “VfB Friedrichshafen” in Germany. Now he playes in Monza, in Italy. He made some notable results playing in the younger categories of the Serbian national team. Nikola Jovović masterminded the play of the Youth Boys National Team of Serbia in their triumphant quests at the 2009 European Championship (silver) and the 2009 World Championship (gold). With the junior men’s team he won bronze at the 2011 World Championship. Nikola was officially named the Best Setter at the 2009 Youth European Championship in Rotterdam. Jovović got Nikola Grbić’s playing uniform (no. 9), which is very significant and important for this kid who looks up to his idol, who has been coaching him for couple of years now in the national team. He played 4 seasons in the World League and won silver medal last year.
