Robertlandy Simon interview
See the interesting interview with superstar of Cuban volleyball. Robertlandy Simon talks pretty much about his decision to leave national team and his current status living in Europe. What do you think? Thank you RevanExtasis for translation ;-)

00:01- Volleyball is an sport that give me motivation, i still watch some matches of volleyball, like a use to watch football matches or basketball matches, because i like sports in general.
00:11- After all i think i played football, Baseball, Basketball, Judo and this, my business when i was child was playing sports the motivation is diferent and you make it for fun, its diferent when you are a grown person.
00:21- i reach the NT at the age of 17 years old, i mean my first international experience was with 17years old in russia for a friendly match then we go to argentina to the same thing and then i make my debut in the world league.
00:39-Be a captain never was my decistion, i think that was a hard time of my carrer, but i work and I quickly adapted to it and now i think that was a beautifoul part of my life as an athlete.
00:49. Reasons from leave the NT? one day i wake up in a morning and i told my mom"mama i cant do this anymore" because im tired of all this problems, then i only ask one thing to them "please fix a litle our social status, we cant live like this", at that time Wilfredo Leon was every day carrying water to the bedroom to just take a bath and i go there and ask them if we would any chance to improve our situation and here i am know.
1:12-i think was hard for me in that moment because im cuban and i fell bad when those young boys lose like any cuban does and i receive some offerts to play for others countries and i say NO, im cuban i dont care what they have to say or give me, in the end they are so many interns problems that make you quit of the NT.
1:39- I fell calm, maybe i know that i didn't take that decisition in the correct moment, but now my life is more calm and i fell good with that, i dont have any kind of problems.
1:52- many people can see me different because some of them, talk to me in the street and ask me "why did you leave the team"? and i answer "that its a question that you cant ask me", "that is a question for other people, that have nothing to do with me." i leave the team because i wanted to( that is his answer for those persons).
2:12- And those are moment in life when you take those decisions which can be simple "take or leave it"
2:24- Cuba?? Cuba is my land, i born here.... Cuba is like..... i don't know how to describe you Cuba, i am 100% Cuban and whatever place i go i fell Cuban, everybody knows that. Because is another type of life, different to any life that you know and sometimes is a more joyful life. i mean maybe you dont live here and you are outside but you always lives and fell that hot almost the same way that people who lives inside. and that make you sad because you want to be inside and you know how its feel and now that you cant do it anymore its sad. but definetly is something that i dont change.
