Bernardinho is not a hero able to transform Chilean national team in a world champion. With a good work in the base categories, maybe it would be necessary at least 10 or 20 years to Chile starts to win in volleyball here in South America. Do not forget that Brazilians are very talentous people in collective sports, like Football (5x world champs), Volleyball (3x wc), Basketball (2x wc), Futsal (6x wc), etc.

@Nagor: the vid did not show if the attack was in or out the court. So, does matter if the italian was high or not.

@Koles: Bernardo probably would not have the same performance in other national team. My point is in other countries maybe the players would not accept the Bernardo's training methods. Hard training at morning, after hard muscles exercises, after lunch hard training again. In a day of any match, training few hours before the match. Training in airports (when they are waiting for flights), training in beaches, bla bla bla. I read some interviews from Brazilians players which acted in European teams, and they affirmed that in Europe the training seasons are softer than in Brazil. So, that is my point, to win is needed perspiration! :)

Zyta, that was my opinion. I'm very well trained in sports education and preparation of young boys, and I work with this in Chile. If I had a student that could reach 350cm or higher (note, 350cm, not 383cm) I would advise him to improve his skills and save energy & powerfull, also saving his body. Do you know was the effect of gravity force on the bones and the articulations in the skeleton of a verterbratec after a jump of 350cm? I don't know exactly how many injuries Todorov had so far, but don't you think that one serious injuriy at 21yrs should turn red flag on? He got out of WL10 and also WC10. WC occurs every four years. What garantees he had in next WC he will not be injuried again? Some players never competed in a WC per serious injuries. This is enough for me. Let's think about talentous players like Giba, Murilo or even Kazyiski. Their strengh is in their brains, not in their legs. Giba is 34yrs old and Murilo is 30. How many serious injuries had they? As well as I know, ZERO (0) serious injuries (only musculars ones). The same Todorov situation can be seen in Wlazly's case. He is always literally broken time after time. He is other jumper, and should be better for him if he was worried to save himself. I really don't like to see in action such these jumper style players.

Does Todorov reach 383cm in attack? So, now I know why he is always injuried. In my opinion he is not being smart. It would be better for him if he jumps only 343cm and could play an complete season with no injury.

Hey Zyta, I got your comments and I'm very respectfull for your opinion. I hope Polish team reaches the goals you Polishes want to. I respect and support Poland in many championships but so far they have disappointed lots of people (including me). If Brazilian case could be used as an example if you look backward in Brazilian volleyball history you will see they learned with many painfull defeats in 80's and also 90's years. As you wrote, maybe Poland and other teams is in right direction to get the top in near future. I hope only the best to yo. Just watch yourself, JR

My reading of some comments here is: "we do envy brazilians", "we are disapointed because they won again", "I hate them", etc. Only bad feelings about them. There is no other team in the world that strongly prepares to play a championship as Brazil. Even the day of very important matches they train over 2 or 3 hrs before the game. The Brazilian spirit is "the will to be prepared is greater than the will to win" and they do so. That is Brazilian secret. They are always working hard and this MUST be respected. For me a parody is: the other teams are eroding itself of desire to become Brazil. But they forget to do the most important thing: work hard before, during and after every tournament.

One more video about WCH10 and nothing changed, Brazil is still the world champion. Where is the parody?

Poland has a very nice league. It's organized, well prepared and also competitive. But I hope Skra does not win the PlusLiga this year, as well as I can I will support Resovia team.
