Just a small thought: Winning records like this should take account of the opponents... Brazil's pool, for example... is almost impossible to win all games! Aside that, nice perfomance from France.

@Wilfredo_is_Marshall: I would even push this further and says that this kind of records shouldn't even exists... or at least never compared to other years, since they aren't comparable with different years... Even in other team sports such as NFL, MLB and friends... What is sad is that the commentators always goes to reccords like that.

@Niamek: yes I watch a funny parody of commentators a while back and in the video the commentators were talking about the most random records ever!

I understand the point if it's just to say they had a reccord like that. But it's not comparable... They still compare ahaha. Maybe one year difference, okay. But 10 or 15 years ago? ?)
