Actions of Matteo Martino in Jastrzębski Węgiel in Plusliga 2012/13. It is his first season outside Italy. He had a propostion for playing in Jastrzębski in season 2011/12, but as he said he didn't feel strong enough. Unfortunately he hasn't too many chances to play. Krzysztof Gierczyński took his place on reception in last matches of regular season of Plusliga.

Martino was in Italy NT in Bejing, but i don't think we will see him again with the Azzuri jersey on since Berruto is the current head coach and when he trained Macerata (and Matteo was a Lube's player) they had many bad fights (and that's one f the reason why he left the club). There was a moment, let's say 5 or 6 years ago when he seemed he might be Italy Nt new star ... but he's too distracted from other things and spoiled it all! @Overlook, amica mia, already told you "be patient with him"...i explained you why ;)

So far his game's rather disappointing, especially in offensive elements. If he wants help the team the play off is high time for it.

quality is very low wilfredo i think you watched italy matches and you noticed he isnst there. after this season it will be hard to him to come back to nt because italy has fantastic receivers and maybe also Juantorena will play in nt
