@Wilfredo_is_Marshall: They wanted to stay but there are no funds. The club is asking fans € 1 million crowdfunding for going on otherwise (for the 10-th time in 10 years) it seriously risks to give up. Yes, even after winning everything in Italy.

@chrison: No distinctions can be made in such sad situations. It's sad and stop. But when this occurs to your favourite club, the one you follow since years, it's dramatic. Really appreciate your message.

@Wilfredo_is_Marshall: With current budget, the club is going to close. With the said millon, an average level team (Orduna-like) will possibly arise. With a new sponsor and tons of luck, names like De Cecco, Le Roux and Stoytchev are first options.

@casamodena: how can Modena have such a small budget, but it has great players over the years and DHL is a big sponsor too. It doesn't make sense for the sponsors to leave, especially since Modena is the best club in Italy.

@casamodena: do you have any news about NGapeth ?

@Wilfredo_is_Marshall: DHL is big company but new to volleyball. So they want to invest very safely (read very little money). Local entrepreneurs are surprisingly not interested in volleyball at all.
@picpaf12: Ngapeth did sign for 2 additional years. If this means staying depends whether the club will get the required funds or not.
