@Michal Maybe I've complicated it too much but I ment that the block wasn't suggested by a setter movement (in Vladko Petković set), but as You said: they took an option to block the middle. Hoverwer the Marlon's set was very quick and the block was tricked by his movement and maybe by his previous sets.

Someone I think you're complicating too much, just like when you were saying "some balls were digable" under some highlight movie. Of course it looked like the Brazilian block took an option to block the middle, but still the credit goes to the setter, as he could see that, if we're going that analytic way. Of course the set by Petkovic lacks precision. Still do you think Nikic didn't want to block the middle at first when Marlon set? Watch it carefully. By the way, how can any setter clear the net without at least 2 blockers involved in any option to jump? That's what a classy setter can do- partly guess blocker's intensions, adding quick setting makes it esier for his teammates.

Setter is responsible but just indirectly. It's like we will say that the birth is the main cause of death :) The players could also go to the middle just by intuition. But I think they're went there because of previous sets. Not by this set and the setter movement before it, which can suggest that he would play middle.

Dude, can't you understand that setter is responsible. You said it by yourself " They just often suggested by the previous sets" and who is responsible for the previous sets - the setter ... so who is the reason - the setter again.

No they are not randomly deciding where to jump. I didn't say it. They just often suggested by the previous sets. For example if there was a lot of sets to the middles they decided to jump to the middle this time. I don't know why do You disrespect my opinion and depreciate me.

Yes and they are randomly deciding where to jump despite the circumstances and the setter. LOL

I thought that a player can decide which player or part of the net he blocks without beeing suggest by the setter movement... but, I do not deeply understand the volleyball nature, so don't listen to me :)

Someone, don't change my words. I never called you stupid and don't turn that against me. You're keep talking silly things and you don't listen at all. No matter can't argue with you and explain you the v-ball nature as I can see you don't understand it deeply.

@Nightfox Why do You call me stupid? Don't You think that coach could say to the blockers before action: "jump to the middle". There are a lot of situations when blockers "go blind" to block some parts of the net or some players and the decision is made before the action. Don't You think it could be like that? And there was different situation in the Marlon set. He set very quickly and mess the blockers. For me only the second is a good example of messing the blockers by a great set.

Guys, let’s stop being so aggressive. There’s no need to behave this way. NightFox and Someone, shake hands now! I’m really disappointed with both of you. I come here to watch movies and read awesome remarks, not harsh words. Gotta call Chrison…

Someone, please don't be stupid ... of course that the block moved before the set. You're falling in my eyes with this stupid comments ... so who is responsible for the no block situation - me ? (of course that it's the setter and the thought that he would set to the middle).

@Nightfox Block moved to the right side before the set.

BTW. Look at 0:04. Bernardo Rezende are preparing to defend the spike with his team
?

Someone, what about the block ? Probably they thought the same ... ? Every opposite will hit that ball and score a point ... even if it's so low ...

@NightFox I think that Brazilian players just assumed that Milijkovic wouldn't get the ball. Notice that they're all moved to their right side before the set.

@Someone: Marlon's grandpa is Japanese (Brazil has the largest Japanese population outside Japan). His teammates call him “Japa”, short form for “japonês” (Japanese). BTW, nice move by both setters.

Someone, yes it's impressive because there was no block or defense and all that depends of the opponent setter. The players were completely misguided by Petkovic and that's why it makes it special.

Yeah... very impressive... Milijkovic barely reached the ball. If there was a defender he would easily dig tha ball up. Of course I'm talking about the first action. The second is very good.

The first set was too fast. Brazil block just give up Milijkovic and that was clear net caused of.
