Cichy Pit recorded the most blocks (32 kill blocks, 1.07 per set) in the competition, and was included in All-Star Team selected by fan vote.

Bartosz Kurek, who was awarded MVP of the World Championsip 2018 spent this season in Plusliga. After Stocznia Szczecin went bankrupt, Polish representative opposite spiker joined in ONICO Warszawa last December. Kurek was main scorer and leader in the team as everyone expected. Owing to his wonderful performances, ONICO Warszawa finished 2nd place in the table of Plusliga 2018/19 season's regular phase.

'Luxembourgers high-altitude bomber'. Kamil Rychlicki is playing as opposite spiker in Consar Ravenna during the Serie A1 2018/19. He shows high spike over blocks and his attack success rate is about 50%. Kamil's team is fighting for advancing to play-off.

The Dutch Thijs ter Horst who is tall outside spiker led his team to the 9th place in the World Championship. Thijs' attack and block were very high and wonderful throughout the competition. He will play for Samsung Bluefangs in Korean V-League 2018/19 season.

Czech 'New star' Donovan Dzavoronok was the best scorer and key player of Vero Volley Monza in 2017/18 season. Dzavoronok's great attack and serve led his team to win the Playoff-challenge, which means Vero Volley Monza earned qualification for participating in CEV Challenge Cup next season.

Sir Safety Perugia is the winner of Italian Cup by defeating Lube Banca Macerata. The performances of Serbian duo Aleksandar Atanasijević(opposite) & Marko Podrascanin (middle-blocker) are very outstanding. Atanasijević who was awarded MVP of the tournament is top scorer in his team with 20 points(attack: 20/33), and Podrascanin scored 11 points including crucial 3 blocks.

Fabian Drzyzga has played in Resovia Rzeszów since 2013/14 season. For 4 years, he won the Plusliga (2014/15) and 2 vice-champions of Poland (2013/14 & 2015/16). He also got the silver medal and was awarded 'Best setter' in Champions League 2014/15. Next season, great setter leaves Resovia and will go abroad for the first time in his career.
