The rejuvenated group mentored by head coach Mauro Berruto is back to the final game of the European Championship some six years after the home triumph in Rome. Lasko scored 17 points while Savani scored 16 points, including 3 aces. Although they were missing three of their best players: Mariusz Wlazły, Paweł Zagumny and Sebastian Świderski, European champions 2009 played nice tournament. Italy national team won all sets (22, 21, 20). Italy’s swift reaction was quickly propelled by a combination of great serves, terrific blocks and spectacular attacks, primarily scored by Lasko. In the movie you can see nice spikes by Michal Lasko and Cristian Savani.
