I consider knee pads ugly. At least a very few players look right in them (Giba, Świderski etc.)

In my opinion the only thing that Italy NT needs is better setter. Very balanced wing spikers and really great middles, Mastrangelo and Fei (of course if he won't return to play as oppossite). The middles weren't exploited much and they should be a leading force. Just watch our middles ? but in our case we need a better opposite to play against the best.

I didn't like Zygadlo cause he is always a bench player and doesn't have an ambition for playing in some team starting six. He played terribly in WL this year that is why everyone complained about him, cause he was always a starting player but no one knew why. Every match was a disaster. But at ECH it changed very much cause to my surprise he started to be accurate and foremost he was 'setting' a ball in full meaning of this word.

I like all kinds of players 1,90 m + if they have a right coordination, dynamic and strentgh. Height doesn't matter that much, the skills are what matter. If a 2,05 can't play in the field, I don't like him cause the best actions start with an extraordinary digs. I don't want to give examples but Kubiak is way better to watch than many higher players. The best attacks are not over the block but the ones avoiding the block any possible way at the height of hands because it shows the skills of a player.

Yeah, great start and great performance of Nowakowski and Zagumny. Whole team was good, but I hope that Bartman will play better in next matches.

That was ridiculous, Fei and Zaytsev were just great.

But anyway it was pathetic to see 2 important referee mistakes, first could end the match 3:0 for Czech, second was in the next set where it could be 18:18 but was 19:17 for Poland and in both cases it was evident point for Czechs.

Poland - Czech 3 - 0 Nice match, great to see Zagumny and Winiarski back. Their return makes me feel that we have a chance at World Cup.

I thought you'd like someone like Fei to come back. Don't know how is his form but World Cup is an important tournament and there is no place for experiments.

bitka you're right that it's absurd that Wiśniewski goes and Pliński not. But on the other hand I would have taken both of them instead of MM or Czarnowski.

Anastazi said that he doesn't want to make big changes to the team that won as two bronzes. For me it's not a good explanation for lack of Pliński, who is in great form right now. And we have better opposites than Jarosz and Bartman (who should be Kurek's sub cause he has similar qualities and is overall better on left wing than right): Janeczek and Konarski, but the thing is that they are young and didn't played in NT. So I think AA should have taken one of those opposites and one experienced.

Don't know if you guys read somewhere (especially Bulgarian guys) but Metodi Ananiev has a knee injury, will have a surgery and won't play for a few months. It's a real pity cause he was playing very good and was a leader of Olsztyn.
