Bulgaria became the first team to secure a spot in the final match of Group 2 of the World League 2015. In front of a full house of over 5000 spectators, among which former president of the Republic of Bulgaria Georgi Parvanov, Bulgaria won against Belgium 3:1 (23:25, 25:14, 25:18, 25:20), led by the shining performances of Vladimir Nikolov who top-scored with 22 points and middle blocker Nikolay Nikolov who aced six times and kill-blocked five for a total of 16 points, as many as team mate Todor Aleksiev. Sam Deroo was Belgium’s best scorer with 14 points.
