Stanković was the best spiker of regular round of Champions League 2009/10 (66,67% efficiency), he played in Budva then. After that Italian scouts noticed his talent and he signed contract with Lube. Dragan Stankovic played 110 matches in all categories of the Serbian National Team (56 in the World League over 5 seasons). He won two silver medals in the World League, and two bronze medals at the European Championships (2005, 2007). He was a member of the national team at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. He is a player of Lube Banca Macerata since 2009.
