USA - Russia (short cut)

Russia, the defending champions, are still looking for their first victory. USA national team won both matches against Russian national team on the third week of the World League 2014. They won in the first game in tie-break and in the second game in three sets. After games in Long Beach, captain of Russia Taras Khtey said: "I think the USA played much better today and controlled the ball much better. They are a good team at this stage. I want to thank you for the hospitality and for the big crowd". There was 2 matches which was watched live at "Walter Pyramid" hall by 9500 fans (average 4750 in one match).
