During fourth match between JW and Delecta Martino was more interested in doing some exercise than fight of his team for medal. I don't like transfer politics of JW (they all the time make the same mistakes) so I hope it will be some lesson for them.

After four weak matches everybody expected finally good level, but fifth match wasn't very interesting too. In a certain sense season ended after Resovia-Skra quarterfinal and the winner of this fight get the title like somebody said. And indeed referees were horrible.

I agree with you too. Skra doesn't need the same story like with Bernardi in JW, but good and experienced coach. My little suggestion: Santilli is “free” now?

New players in team is one problem, but the other is that Skra’s playing in different squad every match and some players often have to change positions. Maybe the situation would be better for them if not two wrong transfers before season. Of course they have health problems, but like most clubs. Now they have one quite new setter and miss one wing-spiker at own request.

I agreed with adi_tiger. Zaksa lost this two points in fair way, not the referee scored them. I like behave of Castellani in this situation and that he didn't excuse lost referee's decisions. In this aspect and general in fair play he is class coach.

From italian perspective they can say that it's not matter how you start, but how you finish.

I don’t agree with you. Match with Italy was the only one we played at good level, others not. So all team was wrong prepared for the tournament, our setting was disaster. One player wouldn’t changed anything imo. I’m fan of Wlazły, but it was too late for his back and Anastasi made right decision. I expected lost vs. Russia, but couldn’t accept style of it. We were class below them, like all lost teams in quarterfinals vs. opponents btw.

It’s obvious that this group of people aren’t volleyball fans, because real volleyball fans would accept lost of their team after game that Bulgaria showed yesterday without any excuses, like you and yours players did. No comment to level of referring. True that our media exaggerated this situation a little bit to much, but let go and focus on volleyball.
I like when host team can celebrate with their fans so good luck to Bulgaria, but Cuba will be very motivated as it’s their last chance to success in this season. In the final I hope for some great volleyball and in my opinion if polish team concentrate on own game it could give good results to us.

Another stupid idea from CEV. They should do exactly the opposite thing – reduce numbers of teams. They should also look for good sponsors and care about marketing.

Unbelievable that after all this mess, which was made by BVF there isn’t any dismissal. President of this organization should be first who resign. They get fired coach two weeks before OG qualification and announced new coach, but they weren’t even sure if he agree. Pure nonsense ! I feel really sorry for Bulgarians fans that they must stand something like this. And I’m really angry for this people, because they destroy volleyball, not mater where it’s happening.

I thought Zygadlo’s transfer to JW is sure, but I’m not very sad that it was only rumor. Hope Kurek’ll decide go to Russia.

Once we discussed about it a little bit (https://volleybox.net/osmany-juantorena-3rd-movie-m2352). So I can repeat that for me the most important is NT, but there is a question what for fans mean success? In club's volleyball the title of World Club Championship isn't any success for me, but f.e. I would more appreciate Skra's win in CL (but if they weren't organizer) than 3rd place of my NT at last ECH.

Congrats to Zenit. From all teams they deserved the most for this victory. They eliminated big Trento after perfect game and today didn't gave up even in the most difficult moments. In the end of tie-break Vermiglio showed why he's called great setter. Skra showed mental weakness in some moments and they made wrong tactic choices. So I don't think Zenit won because of more luck, but because this team was better. And agree with you about MVP for Alekno, he rocks?
Of course it was block's touch in the last action, but Skra had own chances before and now the refs mistakes coudn't be excuse. It was so close, but players should blame only themselves for lost.
Both teams made great show, it was beautiful final.

I only say that it was pleasure to watched Zenit today, great game. Hope for some good volleyball at the final.
