German volleyball has two amazing teams that are battling for the championship title for years - VfB Friedrichshafen and Berlin Volleys. Of course, these two teams play in playoff finals this season as well and current situation says that Berlin Volleys leads by 2:1 in series after yesterday’s win and needs only one more victory to lift the trophy. Paul Carroll scored 14 points for Berlin Volleys while Adrian Gontariu scored 11 points for Friedrichshafen. Team from Berlin lost the first clash in the „Best of five“ series, but managed to turn things around and could take its seventh title overall on home court, on Thursday.
