Trentino - Zenit wasn't lower quality final from pure volleyball point of view
Revan, if Stoychev counted more on the block, he could have taken Todorov, who showed that there is a way to stop or make it tough for Russian teams even in relatively weak team like Yugra where two players dragged them to quarterfinal playoff with some help from Rodychev / young player who can spike over some huge blocks / but you need stone wall block for that. Stoychev doesn't care much for the block and relies more on serving and spiking unfortunately, at least as results it seems that way. Muserskiy is not an option, his salary would be too huge and Simon is in Piacenza.

Maxim is the most complete opposite in the world, insane serve, wall block, good reception and defense skills, but when it comes to attack Milijkovic is the best, he is unstoppable /words of Vladimir Alekno/. He overcomes tough situations on consistent matter, always finding holes in the tactic of the opponent. Maxim Mikhaylov is MVP, because his serve is big part of the success of his teams and his block and reception add a lot too, kind of Juantorena in OPP version
No Matey, no Osmany, No Stokr, first three sets no Birarelli, no Raphael :)

Apalikov and Volkov heavy artillery. Volkov very, very strong, I was surprised that he withstood the pressure

Russian Championship overpowering Italian in ECH this year, not surprising after many of the best players left Serie A1 for the money
Reminds me the situation at the final of the ECH2011
Skra played strong in the final, great support from the full hall for them
Great job :) Great humility, kuba :D
Sokolov is not bench player in the NT,in WL2010 and WL2011 he played half the matches and very good. He won alone the fourth set vs Russia which gave us the point that qualified us in Final 8, for WL2011 he had the same stats as Mikhaylov in the competition /points, efficiency/, played two matches in Final 8, played the match against Poland and brought victory there. From the 4 victories over strong teams last year he was main player in 2 and played in the 3rd half of the time / only vs Italy Nikolov was the whole time starter/ Stoychev made mistake taking Stokr in the team, he should have let Sokolov play as a starter. Stokr is better physically but is not better with decisions during games.

hanes, to have positive efficiency in attack vs the Russian block is not "average"

If Russian NT players play consistently like that outside Zenit /that was Russian NT, Khtey was replaced, Muserskiy absence wasn't felt/ Russia will dominate for long years outside the ECH

Osmany was very good, but Zenit played phenomenally.
Thank you for your appreciation, Wilfredo ?

Polish final four is not good for Trentino with that law and they play there every other year
@camnow, the two teams met 5 times, with Macerata winning 3:2 as guest in Serie A1 and host in CL, losing as host in Serie A1 0:3 and as guest in CL, and losing 2:3 at the final match for the Cup This video is in HD, switch it to 720p to get the best of the video quality :)
Thank you, vatreni :)
A lot of injuries in Modena, it can't be all bad luck
