I think "Waiting" and "Soonest" tournaments of all countries always show first. If you scroll down your filtered results is Poland the only one shown after that?

That's what I thought. Going to be interesting to see how the new Round Robin League does (I forget what it's actually called). 

@Cehudo that one always gets me too. I think 19/20 will become 2019 for an NT after you add it, but if not you can just change it afterwards

The tricky part is what to do when the "Is it a duplicate" pops up during the "Create New Staff". 

I can't get that to work. Player - https://women.volleybox.net/arisa-sato-p1517/clubs ... Coach - https://women.volleybox.net/arisa-sato-p43764/clubs. 

If I try to add Arisa Sato as Coach of Ligare Sendai, she won't show up in the "Type a Staff Member" search unless she's marked as retired first. So ... "Create New" Staff person and then flag "was pro player" and it will merge to her player profile ....
It's easier to mark her as retired, add her and un-retire her, but I see what you're suggesting and think I understand why it has to be that way.

To add an active player as also a staff member, is the only way to do that is mark them as retired, add them as a staff member, and then remove the retirement?

@FrancescoOleni thanks for the response but it still leaves it up in the air for me. We've got folks from all over the world using different languages. Seems silly to not have some sort of definition/consensus to these terms. Remember when Ferhat Akbaş announced he was the new "coach" of the Japanese NT? There's a big difference between a "coach" and a "Head Coach" in a lot of people's minds. 

"Physical preparation coach" = "Trainer" ?

Please help me understand this. The "Sports Director" is an executive who hires players (what I have called General Manager) and the "Team Manager" is the person who keeps the locker room refrigerator full of everyone's favorite snacks. Is that right?

"Team Manager" = "General Manager"? If so, I'd change that one. GM has a known acronym : GM = General Manager - the highest ranking manager ... chief, top dog, head - a person who is in charge

Translations are tough. Would you folks say "Analyst" = "Statistician"?

so it won't catch players who inadvertently,  for whatever reason, don't have an undefined ending? There was a period here where I would leave the 'endng season' "open" (as in picking 'choose and ending season') and they all got set to ending with 2019/20. Could you add a search for ending 2019/20 AND without marked as retired?

@NICOLASOROZ  I would love it if we could add set scores and a link to stats for matches

@FrancescoOleni I think FIVB is going to make it stricter in the future to prevent certain teams, especially Host teams, from sending toss away squads to some weekends and then playing A-Team for home matches. I like that about VNL though, seeing different squads and players throughout

@Sherlock I think most countries don't do it. I once joked that the JVA Web site admin must have all the power. ThShe says "Okay, I'm going to make a web page for your wide roster once, and only once. NO Changes!" hahaha
