Confederação Brasileira de Voleibol (Brazilian Volleyball Confederation) takes part in international volleyball competitions. Brazil has two gold medal at the Olympic Games, won three times the World Championship and nine times the World League. Brazil is the first team on the FIVB World Rankings. Volleybox ·Noisy cheering of Italian fans during the presentation of Italian team before battle against Argentina in PalaTrento. No matter he joined rival Lube this summer, volleyball fans in Trento will never forget what he had done for their favorite club in the past. Osmany Juantorena received big ovations from the crowd in PalaTrento when he stepped on the court in the jersey of Italian national team. It was his first ever game for Azzurri. "Thank you Trento! It was emotional... You will always be in my heart!" wrote Juantorena on his Twitter account. He won four golds with local club Trentino Volley at the Club World Championships from 2009 to 2012. He also played for the Cuban national team from 2003 to 2006.

After a bad start, Poland successfully regained their memory and recovered from the previous loss against USA to overcome Italy 3:1 (19:25, 25:18, 25:20, 26:24). While the host squad still place high in Group E, the Azzurri were ruled out of the competition.

AZS Politechnika Warszwska before season 2013/14. You can see players in action with coach (Jakub Bednaruk). The player who was a member of Polish national team in 2009 when they reached golden medal, Pawel Woicki, is close to sign for AZS Politechnika Warszawska. From June this year, Woicki is without club. He was interested in two clubs from Italy, but didn’t sign a contract. In August, Woicki trained with Trefl Gdańsk. But, at the end of the month, he leaves the club. "I offered a proposal that should be good for Paweł", said president of the AZS Politechnika Warszawska, Jolanta Dolecka. We recall that so far Politechnika has contracted Mateusz Sacharewicz, Maciej Stępień, Juraj Zatko, Adrian Radu Gontariu, Artur Szalpuka, Ivan Kolev and Dawid Gunia.0 2456 -

Wojciech Włodarczyk, Andrzej Wrona, Paweł Zatorski and Samuel Tuia are missing in the presentation due to obligations with their respective national teams. You can see also new coach of Skra Bełchatów: Miguel Angel Falasca. Nicolas Uriarte will have his coach as replacement in Bełchatów since his teammate Aleksa Brdjovic will not be with the squad until October. Aleksa Brdjovic, his competitor in the position, will be back with the team in October 15th as soon as he ends his commitments with his national team. Coach Miguel Angel Falasca will take the place and will be substitute of Nicolas in the next matches. Polish team lost their semi-final with Brazilian team (that was big disappointment for Polish fans) and USA lost with Russia.
