La Unión de Formosa - UPCN Voley Club (2nd match)
2nd full game between La Unión de Formosa and UPCN Voley Club in Argentinian League 2011/12 (semi-final). All sets was very exciting. In Formosa La Unión lost twice. In that game also in three sets (-23, -23, 23). MVP of match was Diego Bonini (he scored 17 points). He scored 13 points in attack, he served 3 aces and made 1 block. In season 2011/12 UPCN won the Master Cup (October) after beating one of the best teams in the country, Buenos Aires United, which line up some volleyball stars as spiker: Milinković, Cuban middle-blocker: Ihosvany Hernández, setter: Firpo and American Olympic champion: Riley Salmon.#DiegoBonini #GustavoScholtis #LaUniondeFormosa #UPCNVoleyClub #ArgentinianLigaA1201112

AlexRusu ·One of the best volleyball players in the history of the sport. Ivan played in the national team of Yugoslavia national team for the first time on October 4, 1998 in a game against Turkey. In 2000 in Sydney the Yugoslav national team (members of which were also Vladimir Grbić, Nikola Grbić, Andrija Gerić, Goran Vujević) won the Olympic gold medal. In the final match against Russia Ivan Miljković scored the last point and after that fell on his knees. After this success he changed his club and started playing for Italian Lube Banca Macerata. In 2001 the Yugoslav team won the European Volleyball Championship in Ostrava. With his club, Lube Banca Macerata, he also won the Champions League (2001), twice the Italian Cup (2001, 2003) and three times the CEV Cup (2001, 2005, 2006). On July 18, 2007, he signed a contract with the M. Roma Volley. The following year, on July 5, 2008, Olympiacos, announced that he will be continuing his career in Greece. In 2009 he won the Greek Championship and the Greek Cup and in 2010 the championship. On June 30, 2010, he signed a two-year contract with Fenerbahçe Istanbul. In March 2012, has officially retired from the Serbian National Team after 14 years and 288 played matches. "This is a definite end. The match and the last point I made at the World Cup in Japan, against the Americans" - said Ivan Miljković. La Unión de Formosa - UPCN Voley Club (1st match)
UPCN Voley Club was one of the best teams in the A1 Argentine League 2011/12. They won all sets in match against La Unión de Formosa. Game with amazing Demian Gonzalez sets. Nice match of Diego Bonini, who scored 14 points (including 12 attacks, 2 blocks and 55% in attack). He played with number 1. The best scorer in La Unión de Formosa was Gustavo Scholtis with 19 points (52% of efficiency in attack). Interview with Osmany Juantorena
Osmany Juantorena is an Italian-Cuban volleyball player. He currently plays as wing-spiker for Halkbank Ankara. He is a nephew of Alberto Juantorena, a Cuban former track runner and politician. He debuted in the Cuban first series aged 12, in the Orientales de Santiago. He remained in Cuba for seven years, before moving to Russian side Ural Ufa. In the meantime he also began to play for Cuba's national team, winning the bronze medal in the 2005 World League. In the late 2006 Juantorena was disqualified for two years after testing positive for Testosterone during the Central American and Caribbean Games. His return was delayed by the Cuban Volleyball Federation due to his decision to move to play to Italy. He remained in Trento until he could return to play in 2009. Playing for Trentino Volley, he won the FIVB Club World Championship, the Italian Cup and a European Champions League (he also obtained the title of MVP in the competition) in 2010.4 3627 -
