Why Rank set to 9.00? etc. How a user can understand where it comes from?

@Sherlock I like the variant with ‘Sport nationality’/'Civil nationality'.

Nationality → Sport nationality - mandatory field

Second nationality → Civil nationality - optional

@Dorien I am ok with it. That is their right but at the same time, such an approach confused other users. 

If a user does not want to show their country, let's create some ‘Undefined’ country, and ‘spy’ users will be gathered there. What is the reason to show the stats for visitors with territories/lands/anonymous proxies and named it ‘Users from countries’? You must be confused, aren't you?

Nope. At least the query was changed. Now when you filter player by Country, the query should match one of the field ‘Nationality’ OR ‘Second Nationality’. As a result, Leon appeared in output results equally as for Country filter: Poland or Country filter: Cuba. And that is ok.

Next: here is a UX problem. 

When a user adds the player profile, field naming is confusing.

What should a user put under Nationality? Remember, it is a mandatory field. 

Sport or real? What nationality do you add to the new player profile? 

For one player - sport, for another - real. Everyone puts what she/he wants. As a result, added players appeared with the confusing country icon.

Finally, why this field called ‘Nationality’? Maybe it would be better to name it ‘Country’ for consistency with the filter name ‘Country’? Probably, the questions won't be answered.

And that's it. I must agree, it is not crucial ever a problem on this site, but remember, there are a lot of such minor things that build your overall opinion and comfort, willingness to come back to the platform. 

It is perfect for you, for someone else, but it doesn't mean it is even ok for other visitors.

@Sherlock could you please imaging your profile here. You are originally from France. You changed the sport nationality to Moldova, for example. Someone put under your ‘Nationality’ field Moldova, and ‘Second nationality’ - France. If you accept this weird logic with ‘yes, I agree, but I have another point of view’, I do not have any concerns and will close the thread.

@Sherlock there is concern about proper valid naming at first. The second concern someone approved non-sense data. Wilfredo first nationality is Cuba, not Poland. It is non-sense, that Cuba is a second nationality. Where is the logic?

@Sherlock yep. imagine user feeling “Great, I saw the 800+ users from Somali. What should I do with this?” Useless, isn't it?

BTW, it looks like all these community activities can be placed under some dashboard on the one page with some graphics, tables, etc, isn't it? Not clear what is the reason for special pages for Users from countries, Users on matches, and others.

@Volleybox hm… a bit confusing. Expecting the total amount of users, cause the amount of countries you (as user) can find by just scrolling down to the list bottom.

@Volleybox at least for the sake of logic value. There are men, women boxes are present. At the same time women beach, men beach are skipped - they combined in Beach section. Could someone explain why?

Nope. As a user, I want to see - Classic, Beach, Snow, etc. Classic is mixed with men and women. Mixed means - show all men and women content together until a user decided what she/he wants to see. She/he doesn't have this choice now. If I only want to see the beach volley, cause the world season started, every time I need to switch from the men, and vice versa.

Nope. If a user wants to see women, let her/him see women. If she/he wants to see women AND men, let the user has this option - checkbox/toggle in profile settings. If the user not logged in, let's show classic men by default OR classic mixed (men and women), etc.

→ Merging domains volleybox.net with women.volleybox.net will take a lot of time. It means that no other functionality will be able to be implemented during the implementation of merging the domains.

As a suggestion, it can be done on the separated/stage/test whatever env at first. After the new functionality met all expectations, passed the quality gates, beta tests, all this stuff, the same as it happened for PWA. BTW, is PWA in prod already?
